Sunday Ratings: Steelers Steal Win for NBC

Unless you’re willing to count the Big Brother clip show, Sunday Night Football was the only original program after 8pm last night. This lack of competition gave NBC an easy victory in both categories yesterday.
8pm
- Approximately 15.8 million watched the Pittsburgh Steelers defeat the Cleveland Browns on Sunday Night Football (6.4/16 in 18-49).
- Big Brother 10 (2.7/7) refreshed 10.3 million.
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition* (7.1 million, 2.3/6) piled on another 1.2 million.
- A Fringe* repeat (2.3/6) got 5.7 million caught up.
- Privileged* (0.8/2) attended to 2 million viewers.
Programming Insider
9pm
- Cold Case* (2.0/5 in 18-49) warmed up 6.5 million.
- A 2-hour block of Desperate Housewives* (1.9/5) averaged 5.5 million.
- America’s Next Top Model* (2.7 million, 1.2/3) was up by 900,000.
10pm
- CSI: Miami* (1.6/4 in 18-49) roped up 6.4 million.
