Shocking news to the fans of As The World Turns.  Actor Benjamin Hendrickson, 55, was found dead in his New York home over the weekend after an apparent suicide.  The Emmy-award winner played the role of Chief Hal Munson on the soap for over 20 years.  He had reportedly been distraught since the death of his mother three years ago.  Hendrickson’s last air date on CBS will be July 12.
