Wednesday Ratings: The Middle Better Off Post-Hank

Sorry, Kelsey - but you were just replaced by a repeat. A repeat (Modern Family) that did better than your last appearance. A repeat that helped its lead-out (The Middle) pick up an additional 1 million over its previous outing.
8pm
- Mercy (7.8 million, 2.0/6 in 18-49) took in another million.
- The New Adventures of Old Christine (7.5 million, 2.2/7) did about the same; Gary Unmarried (7.2 million, 2.5/7) lost 500,000.
- A Modern Family* repeat (6.2 million, 1.9/6) did 900,000 better than Hank; The Middle (7.1 million, 2.4/7) was helped by its new lead-in.
- Dancing with the Stars (5.7 million, 2.1/6) picked up 200,000.
- Approximately 3.7 million caught the America’s Next Top Model finale (1.7/5).

- Criminal Minds (13.5 million, 3.7/9 in 18-49) raised another 1.2 million.
- Modern Family (9.2 million, 3.7/10) had the best demos of the night.
- Law & Order: SVU (8.4 million, 2.6/7) was off by 400,000.
- Cougar Town (7.9 million, 3.2/8) added on 1.1 million.
- An America’s Next Top Model clip show (0.8/2) turned in 1.8 million.
10pm
- CSI: NY (13.7 million, 3.2/9 in 18-49) was down 200,000.
- Nearly 6.6 million watched Janet Jackson on In the Spotlight With Robert Roberts (2.3/7).
- The Jay Leno Show (4.8 million, 1.4/4) grew by 200,000.
