Wednesday Ratings: Criminal Minds Still Packs Punch

Despite competition from two buzzworthy shows (Modern Family, Glee) and an NBC vet (SVU), Criminal Minds remains strong. The drama helped CBS win with the viewers and tie FOX in the demos last night.
8pm
- Mercy (7.3 million, 2.0/6 in 18-49) remained even with last week.
- The New Adventures of Old Christine (7 million, 2.1/6) was off 500,000; Gary Unmarried (6.4 million, 2.2/6) lost 1 million.
- So You Think You Can Dance (6.8 million, 2.6/8) fell by 300,000.
- Hank (5.8 million, 1.5/5) was down 400,000; The Middle (6.4 million, 2.0/6) gave up 300,000.
- America’s Next Top Model (3.1 million, 1.4/4) did the same.

- Criminal Minds (13.7 million, 3.6/9 in 18-49) slipped by 200,000.
- Law & Order: SVU (9.3 million, 2.9/7) reached a season high.
- Modern Family (8.6 million, 3.3/9) fell by 700,000; Cougar Town (7.4 million, 3.0/8) shaved off 500,000.
- Glee (7.2 million, 3.2/8) saw 200,000 tune out.
- Melrose Place* (1 million, 0.5/1) picked up 100,000.
10pm
- CSI: NY (12.6 million, 3.0/8 in 18-49) gave up 300,000.
- The Jay Leno Show (5.2 million, 1.5/4) hit a Wednesday low.
- Eastwick (4.9 million, 1.7/5) skidded by 200,000.
