• American Idol (29 million, 11.7/29 in 18-49) was down 4 million from seven days ago.
• NCIS* (12.2 million, 2.1/5) sunk about 3.7 million.
• The Biggest Loser (8.9 million, 3.7/9) gained 1.7 million pounds.
• Just for Laughs (4.8 million, 1.4/4) saw a slight bump.
• About 1.5 million danced with Reaper* (0.6/1) and the devil.

9pm

• House* (14 million, 5.1/12 in 18-49) debuted to strong numbers in its new post-Idol slot.
• The Unit* (7.9 million, 1.9/5) lost a good chunk of its lead-in.
• Both According to Jim (6.2 million, 2.2/5) and Carpoolers (4.9 million, 1.7/4) saw bumps from last week.
• One Tree Hill (3.1 million, 1.3/3) gained 400,000 from last Tuesday.

10pm

• Law and Order: SVU (13 million, 4.6/12 in 18-49) easily won the hour.
• Boston Legal (2.2/6) held court with 8.2 million.
• 48 Hours Mystery (2.0/5) dug up 6.9 million.
