Sunday Ratings: Low Turnouts for Housewives, Survivor

A little bit of good news and bad news for ABC and CBS last night. Although they both had wins (ABC with the 18-49s; CBS with the viewers), Desperate Housewives and Survivor had their lowest closing demos to date.
8pm
- Survivor: Tocantins (4.2/11 in 18-49) drew in 12.7 million over its first two hours.
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (2.4/7) rounded up 7.6 million.
- Dateline (1.4/4) turned in 6.6 million.
- The Simpsons* (2.9/8) ended its season with 5.9 million; King of the Hill (2.6/7) scored 5.1 million.

- Desperate Housewives (4.7/12 in 18-49) had 13.5 million sucked in.
- Family Guy (3.7/9) signed off with 7.3 million; American Dad (2.8/7) pulled in 5.6 million.
- A Saturday Night Live special (1.5/4) kept 3.7 million entertained.
10pm
- Approximately 11.9 million watched JT officially crowned the winner of Survivor: Tocantins (4.1/10 in 18-49).
