CBS’ comedy lineup returned in fine form last night. The 100th episode of HIMYM - coupled with strong outings in the 9:00 hour - gave the network wins in both the viewers and the demos yesterday.

• House (4.6/12 in 18-49) returned to 12.2 million.
• The Bachelor (3.6/9) handed out 10.5 million roses.
• Approximately 9.8 million watched How I Met Your Mother‘s 100th episode (3.9/10).
• Accidentally on Purpose (3.2/8) entertained 8.5 million.
• Chuck (7.3 million, 2.6/7) was down just slightly from Sunday’s numbers.
• One Tree Hill* (0.4/1) turned in 1.2 million.

9pm

• Two and a Half Men (17.3 million, 5.4/13 in 18-49) had the largest audience of the night.
• The Big Bang Theory (15.8 million, 5.7/14) had its best numbers to date.
• Fringe (2.8/7) registered 7.8 million.
• Heroes (4.7 million, 2.1/5) hit its lowest demo for an original.
• Gossip Girl* (0.3/1) settled for 740,000.

10pm

• CSI: Miami (3.7/10 in 18-49) roped in 13.7 million.
• Castle (2.6/7) attracted 9.5 million.
• The Jay Leno Show (4.8 million, 1.6/4) did the same as last week.
