Monday Ratings: CBS Comedies Have Last Laugh

Although Dancing with the Stars was yesterday’s most-watched program, the series had its lowest-rated episode ever. ABC ended up with the win in with the viewers, while CBS’ strong comedy lineup secured a victory in the demos.
8pm

- Dancing with the Stars (4.0/11 in 18-49) glided to 17 million.
- A 2-hour Deal or No Deal (9.7 million, 2.9/7) easily outperformed that My Dad is Better Than Your Dad program.
- A new episode of Bones (2.8/8) returned to 8.5 million.
- The Big Bang Theory (2.9/8) got things rolling with 7.7 million; How I Met Your Mother (8 million, 3.4/9) improved from there.
- Gossip Girl* (1.3 million, 0.6/2) remained steady with last week.
Variety
9pm
- Two and a Half Men (13.8 million, 5.3/13 in 18-49) won the night in demos.
- A new Rules of Engagement (10.3 million, 4.0/10) kept most of its lead-in.
- Samantha Who? (10 million, 3.0/7) was a close third.
- New Amsterdam (2.1/5) ended its season with 6.8 million,
- One Tree Hill (1.3/3) had 2.7 million trying out its new time slot.
10pm
- CSI: Miami* (10.5 million, 2.9/8 in 18-49) did well despite being old.
- Medium (9.6 million, 3.1/8) was down 1.1 million.
- The Bachelor (7 million, 2.5/7) was on par with last week.
