Friday Ratings: CBS Finales Close on a Win

CBS’ usually strong lineup racked up another weekend win. The network placed first in both the viewers and the demos with ABC right behind in second.
8pm
- Ghost Whisperer (2.0/8 in 18-49) ended its season with 8.4 million.
- America’s Funniest Home Videos (1.7/6) had 6.8 million laughing.
- Friday Night Smackdown (4 million, 1.2/4) was down a smidge.
- FOX‘s airing of Dodgeball (2.8 million, 1.2/4) was down 600,000 compared to last week’s movie.
- A repeat of American Gladiators* (0.9/3) only had 2.5 million fired up.
Programming Insider
9pm
- Approximately 7.6 million said goodbye to the series finale of Moonlight (1.8/6 in 18-49).
10pm
- Numb3rs (9.7 million, 2.3/7 in 18-49) was the evening’s most-watched show.
- 20/20 (6.2 million, 1.9/6) did about the same.
- Dateline (4.3 million, 1.4/4) saw a 1.7 million decrease.
