Law & Order: SVU: Two former Sports Night vets will be reuniting for much dark project. In SVU, Teri Polo and Josh Charles will play a newly married couple with a troubling family matter. It seems Teri’s teenage son has developed sick feelings for his much younger stepbrother. Ick. That episode is scheduled to air on September 30.

Entourage: Although he’s already scheduled to host Saturday Night Live next month, Michael Phelps has just taped an appearance for another program. Earlier today, the Olympic swimmer shot a “spontaneous” cameo with the boys of Entourage in New York. No other details were revealed. Entourage returns to HBO on Sunday, September 7.

CSI: Miami: Megalyn Echikunwoke, previously named as a recurring character, was recently promoted to series regular on CSI: Miami. Echikunwoke, formerly of The 4400, will come on board as the show’s new medical examiner. Her entrance will fill the void recently created by Khandi Alexander’s exit. Miami debuts on Monday, September 22.

Eli Stone: Taraji Henson, an actress who has had memorable roles in Hustle & Flow and Talk to Me, has become the latest film actress to schedule a cameo on Eli Stone. (Katie Holmes and Sigourney Weaver being the other two.) Henson, who also appeared on ABC’s Boston Legal, will have a three-episode stint playing Angela, Loretta Devine’s daughter. Stone premieres on Tuesday, October 14.

Army Wives: Rumer Willis, who can currently be seen in The House Bunny, will soon be exploring her dramatic side on Army Wives. Demi and Bruce’s daughter has just been tapped to play the wife of an injured soldier. Expect the entire Willis clan to gather when her episode airs on October 12.

Lipstick Jungle: Vanessa Marcil, who most recently starred in the now-cancelled Las Vegas, will now be moving over to another NBC series. This season, the former General Hospital star will have a recurring role alongside the other women of Lipstick Jungle. Vanessa will play a music manager who works with Shane on a possible film score. The second season of Lipstick premieres on Wednesday, September 24.
