Phil Partington

Phil Partington is a writing enthusiast of many years and has been published in national magazines, web publications and other media arenas. He hails from Washington state and is a bit quirky, odd and often dorky. With that in mind, it’s no wonder he turned out a writer! After 13 years of playing organized basketball, Phil realized a career in the pros wasn't an option. Instead, he evolved into a basketball geek, expressing his opinions and insights via several media outlets. He has written for a myriad of basketball and fantasy basketball sites around the net. Phil graduated with a BA in English with a minor in Business Administration at Saint Martin's University in Washington state and currently works full time with the Plant Operations Support Consortium, a self-sustaining consortium for public organizations across the northwest. He writes for and is editor of the Consortium's quarterly trade publication, "Shop Talk," and assists public organizations in maximizing their resources and elasticizing their budgets through various professional services. In addition, Phil is a casual guitarist of 10-plus years. He doesn’t do live shows often, by choice, but he sure enjoys writing/recording his own material.
