Banclock Bribes You to Shut Up
Some of us will never be morning people. We just keep hitting that snooze button until the next thing we know, an hour has slipped away and we are tardy again. The Japanese Banclock removes the button and requires coinage to shut it up. This is strangely appealing in an alarming kind of way, having a clock that bribes us to rise up and conquer another day. If you just can’t find enough change one morning to feed it, it will cease and desist after 5 minutes. The Banclock comes in five different colors with a size of 10 x 10 x 10 mm, can run on an AC adapter or batteries, and carries a MSRP of 5983 Yen (~$52.00.)
