Plant TwitterIf you believe in the plant that has its own blog, then you might also like to know that you can get your plant to Twitter. A CERN scientist supposedly created this Plant Twitter Kit. Assemble it (some soldering required,) then connect it to your leafy friend and subscribe to its feed, and it will tell you when it needs water or complain if you give too much. We’re still not sure that the gadget will work, and it seems an overpriced $99.99, but hey, if it works on your philodendron, it may work on your puppy.

T-Qualizer CapIf you already own a T-Equalizer shirt, then you will be pleased to know that it is now available in a baseball cap. Powered by two included 2 CR2032 batteries, they are hidden away in the lining of the back of the head wear. In a one size fits all, a sensor allows adjustment for loud and soft environments. While we expect that the hat will be more popular with those who can actually see it, take comfort in the fact that for £12.95 (~$21.00) you were the one who was smart enough to purchase it first.

Dell TravellerWhen something like this comes out we just have to share. Rumor has it that Dell has gotten together with Pharos in an effort to jump on the smartphone bandwagon with the Traveller 117 and 127. Each has Windows Mobile 6.1, QWERTY keyboard and 7.2 Mbps HSDA support. They also have VGA video call capability, a 2 megapixel cam, and four hours of talk time and 200 standby. While the Travellers may have some awesome GPS capability, we don’t think Apple or RIM have too much to worry about.

The phone hit store shelves barely a week ago, and in the race to unlock it, the guys at Unlock-TMobileG1.com receive the first place trophy. Seriously, did you think they’d give it to you for free? If that was your plan, you’d better wait for a more charitable group to figure things out – or keep your T-Mobile account in good standing for 90-days, after which they’ll be happy to unlock it for you. If patience isn’t your virtue in this particular instance, fork over the $23 and enjoy your liberated G1 right now.

Check out the above video for a demonstration of the unlocking process.

Black Friday CartoonWe found a great little site dedicated to Black Friday. There over fifty lists from companies that include Circuit City, CompUSA, Office Depot and Radio Shack, with more to come. Looking at Sears’ list, we found such items as a Samsung Disc Player for $199.99, Sharp’s LC26SB24U 26” 720p LCD for $399.99, and the Sony 5-Disc DVD/CD Home Theater System with Upconversion at $249.99, marked down $50.00. Even if we can’t always shop online, it is certainly a plus to be able to check out what is out there ahead of time.

MicroflyMicrofly is a clever propeller-driven flyer, controlled by a transmitter that also acts as a charger. It will hover or move up, down, forward and backwards to irritate your coworkers or family members. At a size of only 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 2 1/2-inches, it needs six 1.5V AA LR6 batteries (not included.) You can get your own Microfly for $24.95, shoot some fuzzy images, and try to convince others on YouTube you saw a UFO.
