VIDEO: Christina Aguilera’s Grammy Fall

We don’t know Christina Aguilera personally, but we still think it’s safe to say the year isn’t shaping up the way she intended.

Her personal life is a little messy, with the divorce and all, and now her public life is becoming a tragedy of errors. The songstress bravely performed at the Grammy awards, because the show must go on despite her well-watched Super Bowl flub . . . but now, Aguilera probably wishes she’d stayed home.

The performer managed to belt her way through “Ain’t No Way,” a tribute to Grammy winner Aretha Franklin, without a hitch -- but following the performance, there was trouble. After Christina Aguilera executed her song, she moved a little too aggressively downstage . . . and fell down. Watch the video above to see her sad-but-funny stage spill.

During a concert last night in Tampa, Florida, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan became the latest musician to take a fall while on stage. The singer was in the middle of performing “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” when he briefly smashed to the floor.

VIDEO: Pink Falls From Harness During Act

UPDATE: You can see video of Pink falling off the stage after the jump.

Even if you haven’t attended one of Pink‘s concerts, chances are you’ve already seen a clip of her performing some type of circus act…while singing at the same time.

Although she’s pulled off these stunts numerous times - like at the MTV Video Music Awards and at the Grammys - the risk for an accident is always still there. Unfortunately, that proved to be the case during her concert in Nurnberg, Germany tonight.

In the video above, you can see Pink explaining after the accident why the show has to close early.

VIDEO: Pregnant Alicia Keys Falls on Stage

“Fallin’” isn’t just something Alicia Keys sings about. During a performance Saturday night, the 29-year-old worried a crowd in New Orleans when she stumbled backward on stage.

Although falls during concerts seem to be commonplace these days, this incident was slightly different. Alicia is currently expecting her first child with fiance Swizz Beatz.

Fortunately, Keys - who managed to keep on performing without missing a beat - and her unborn child are both reportedly fine.

How do big girls handle potentially embarrassing - and public - falls? Well, as singer Fergie demonstrated earlier this week, they pick themselves right back up and keep on singing.

During the Black Eyed Peas’ concert in Kansas City on Wednesday, the Duchess managed to avoid falling on any lady lumps and tumbled to her knees instead.

This video has just made Jennifer Lopez‘s day.

Over the weekend, Lady Gaga became the latest artist to take a spill while performing on stage. The moment - which can be seen at the :20 mark - came during the singer’s concert at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Fortunately, Gaga, like Lopez, was able to pick herself right back up and continue with the number.

These incidents are, of course, not as uncommon as one might think. Just watch these old falls from Beyonce, Katy Perry and Steven Tyler if you need any reminders.

Aerosmith Tour Canceled After Steven Tyler Fall

A frightening fall earlier this month has forced the cancellation of Aerosmith‘s summer tour.

On August 5, Steven Tyler and the rest of his bandmates were in Sturgis, S.D. when the lead singer - as seen in the video - took a spill off the stage. The 61-year-old was performing his signature moves when he gave the crowd more than they had bargained for. “I was doing the Tyler shuffle and then I zigged when I should have zagged ... AND I slipped, and as I live on the edge ... I fell off the edge!” Tyler recently stated.

Madonna Takes a Spill in Brazil

Last night, Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour took a slippery turn.

During her Rio de Janeiro stop, the 50-year-old fell on the wet stage while performing her song “She’s Not Me.” But, like any experienced professional, she didn’t let the weather keep her down. She continued singing while still on the floor.

You can see the mishap at approximately the :35 second mark. (Madonna then picks herself up and kisses a “Like a Virgin” model of herself at approximately the 1:00 point.)

Katy Perry Falls Hard - Again and Again and Again

In some MTV performances, it’s the lead singer’s intention to end up on the ground. (Remember Madonna’s classic Like a Virgin number?) Unfortunately, that was not the case for Katy Perry last night.

At yesterday’s MTV Latin America bash, the “I Kissed a Girl” singer gave the foreign audience something to remember the American by. Perry - who coincidentally used a cake as a prop like Madonna - thought it would be entertaining to dive into the large dessert at the end of her song. Unfortunately for her, the entertainment she provided was clearly unscripted.

The embarrassment begins around the :20 mark.
