Lady Gaga wants Justin Bieber's manager to help save her career.
The "Do What U Want" hitmaker is considering getting help from Scooter Braun, who helped Justin to become a global superstar, after being left disappointed by the sales of her last album Artpop, while her latest track "G.U.Y." didn't even made the American Top 40.
"If anyone can help Gaga now it's Scooter. He's one of the smartest blokes in the music industry and made Bieber into the biggest pop star on the planet. There are a few options for her but Scooter is one of them," a source said.
The 28-year-old singer parted ways with her former manager Troy Carter last year citing "creative differences" and she hired Bobby Campbell, who used to work for her original team.

Chris Martin: I Don’t Care That Coldplay Isn’t Cool

Chris Martin doesn't care that people think Coldplay isn't "cool."
The "Magic" singer admits the group - also made up of Johnny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion - have never been seen as fashionable but after scoring the fastest-selling album of 2014 with Ghost Stories, they have proved they have longevity.
"We have never been the coolest thing or the most fashionable thing. Well, maybe for a period. It just feels like we're able to keep rolling and no-one really notices. I feel like every day we're given is a real blessing. I could not have asked for a more dreamy job," Chris, 37, said.
Although the band have had repeated success and toured the world, they realize that Coldplay may not last forever, according to the Daily Star newspaper. "If we're in that place in 10 years, that's amazing. But if we're not, that's okay," Chris said.

Jack White: I Almost Never Speak to Meg
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Gossip, Upcoming Releases, Rock,
Jack White admits he "almost never" speaks to his former bandmate Meg White.
The ex-White Stripes singer, whose band called it a day in 2011, has since forged his own successful solo career and claims hardly anybody he knows speaks to drummer Meg since the band split.
"I don't think anyone talks to Meg. She's always been a hermit. When we lived in Detroit, I'd have to drive over to her house if I wanted to talk to her, so now it's almost never," he told Rolling Stone.
Talking about how Meg's personality came to affect the pair's relationship, Jack explained, "She's one of those people who won't high five me when I get the touchdown. She viewed me that way of, 'Oh, big deal, you did it, so what?' Almost every single moment of the White Stripes was like that. We'd be working in the studio and something amazing would happen, I'm like, 'Damn, we just broke into a new world right there!' And Meg's sitting in silence. I remember hearing Ringo Starr say, 'I always felt sorry for Elvis, because in The Beatles we had each other to talk about what it felt like. Elvis was by himself.' I was like, '####, try being in a two-piece where the other person doesn't talk!'"

Johnny Depp to Reform Rock Band
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Gossip, Reunions, Rumors, Rock,
Johnny Depp is planning to reunite with his old band.
The 50-year-old star is reportedly planning on putting his acting career on hold so that he can get back together with his former band The Kids, whom he split from 30 years ago.
"It's something he's wanted to do for a while. He's a frustrated rocker and for all the success he's had as an actor, he still wishes he could make it in the music world," a source said.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor is said to have been encouraged by his new fiancee Amber Heard, whom he met on the set of 2011 film The Rum Diary, to reclaim his position as lead guitarist in the rock band. "This will be his chance to live out his fantasies and see what might have been. But he's nervous the music critics might give him a hard time. The Kids decided to part ways in 1984 after moving from Florida to Los Angeles when Johnny landed a role in A Nightmare On Elm Street," the source said. "They've played the odd gig since but it's 30 years since they officially called it a day. Johnny thinks it's the perfect opportunity for them to go on tour and maybe even record an album. The band changed their name to Six Gun Method before they split so it will probably be under that name."

Akon claims his record label cut ties with Lady Gaga because her career is on the decline.
The "Senegalese" hitmaker, who initially signed Gaga to his Kon Live Distribution record label under Interscope in 2007, claims he "cashed out" on the Born This Way singer because he felt her career had hit a "peak."
In an interview with US DJ Sway on Sirius XM, he was asked if he was "still involved with the star," to which he responded, "Actually I cashed out. I got out while the gooding [sic] was hot. It's like a business, you build it to sell it. When I got it to the peak of where I felt it couldn't go nowhere, and there was nowhere left to go but down, I cashed out." He added, "In other words I sold my share and got out before it was too late."
During the earlier years Akon was involved in Gaga's first album The Fame and co-wrote her hit debut single "Just Dance."

P. Diddy wants to be known as Puff Daddy again.
The rap mogul - real name Sean Combs - announced in 2001 that he had changed his stage name to P. Diddy, but started using the moniker he was best known by in the late '90s again this week, as he took to Twitter to share a teaser for his upcoming video "Big Homie," in which he introduces himself as Puff Daddy.

The rapper, who is also sometimes referred to by friends as Puff or Puffy, decided to change his name 13 years ago after he was acquitted on gun-possession and bribery charges in New York City.

Jared Leto Finds Juggling Acting and Music Easy
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Alternative, Rock, New Releases,
Jared Leto doesn't find it difficult switching from his role as a frontman to being an actor.
The Thirty Seconds to Mars singer, whose recent performance in Dallas Buyers Club as transgender AIDS victim Rayon has seen him win a string of awards, insists moving between the two professions comes naturally to him.
"You could stick me in front of a pile of rubbish, and I'll make something out of it. It all comes from the same place, I'm a creative person, I find creative solutions to problems, and the difference is process. The process of making music is very intimate, because at least for me, and Thirty Seconds to Mars, I write the songs, my brother [Shannon] plays the drums, and we have so much responsibility from the music to the production to the videos to the design to the marketing to the tours and the production of the tours ... everything."

Miley Cyrus Doesn’t Mind if People Don’t Buy ‘Bangerz’

Miley Cyrus doesn't mind if people don't buy her Bangerz album.
The "Wrecking Ball" singer claims she wouldn't have cared if her latest record - which was a number one album in the US, Australia and the UK - wasn't a huge seller as she is comfortable financially and more interested in making an artistic statement with her music.
"I've made my money. If no one buys my album, cool. It's fine. I've got a house, and I've got dogs that I love. I don't need anything else," she told W.
Miley, 21, may be seen as a hard-partying figure with her notorious live appearances in skimpy outfits with her tongue hanging out, but she insists when she is at home in California she rarely goes out: "I never leave the house. Why go to a movie? I've got a huge-ass TV. We've got a chef here that can make you great food. We don't need to leave. I would just rather be here where I'm completely locked in."

Beyonce Sacks Her General Manager

Beyonce has sacked her manager and become her own boss.
The "Drunk In Love" hitmaker and Jay Z are now in total control of her career after ditching Live Nation executive Faisal Durrani, although her husband doesn't hold an official professional position.
"Jay has been heavily involved in Beyonce's career for years, and was instrumental in organizing the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. But he isn't officially regarded as her manager - she really is independent," a source said.
The change in focus is to make sure her career is handled with her family in mind, and with the couple reportedly keen to give their two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy a sibling in the future. "Now the couple have Blue, she wants to make sure her family come first at all times, especially as there's talk of them adding to the brood. The best way to do that is to make sure all managerial decisions are made by her and her husband - together," the insider added.
