One Direction have been filming a secret music video.
The "Midnight Memories" hitmakers - Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson - were spotted filming on Clevedon Pier in Somerset yesterday as they braved the cold. According to The Sun newspaper, the boys were seen sipping hot drinks and holding hot water bottles as they tried to warm up.
An area of the pier was closed off as the band started working on the promo, which is thought to be for their upcoming new single. After fans heard the band were in town, many started to line up next to the pier, with one girl canceling her driving test to try and catch a glimpse of the boys.

Liam Payne May Quit One Direction
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Gossip, Rumors, Pop,
Liam Payne could quit One Direction to stay with his girlfriend.
The 19-year-old heart throb "can't stand" being separated from dancer-and-model Danielle Peazer and admitted he would ditch the boy band to save their relationship.
"I can't stand being away from Danielle. If it's between the band and her, I'll choose her," he said.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, Liam wanted to bring his girlfriend with him as the quintet embark on a four-month stint in the US, but record label bosses want One Direction to work as a team without any distractions. A source told the publication the singer gets homesick, and his relationship with Danielle is the deal-breaker - particularly after their original split in September because of his band commitments.

Justin Timberlake Offers Advice to One Direction
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Gossip, Pop,
Justin Timberlake advised One Direction to not take things "too seriously."
The 32-year-old star is a fan of teen heart-throbs One Direction, and admitted his past in boyband *NSYNC mean he can relate to what they're going through.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror newspaper, he said, "They look like they are having the best time. I can relate to where they are in life. I haven't really met them but they seem like great guys and I wish them only good things. I live my life surrounding myself with good people and people I can trust so I would say that's important. And they should never take anything too seriously."
The "Suit & Tie" hitmaker also admitted he spends so much time in Britain, he should look into buying a house ahead of a busy summer. "I should really buy a house here. I'm having the best time in London and whenever I do a tour I seem to spend the majority of my time here. I love the UK fans. I'm looking at my diary and seem to be spending a lot of time here this summer ... more than ever, I think," he added.

Fans of the nineties boy band 98 Degrees - which consists of Nick Lachey and his brother Drew, Jeff Timmons, and Justin Jeffre - will be happy to know that the group will be putting together a new album. The quartet, who are set to go on tour with their nineties peers New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men, recently appeared at Full Sail University, where Timmons opened up about getting back together with his old friends:
"We took a break, but we never broke up. We always thought we'd get back together someday. When we first got together, we started singing acapella. It felt very natural. We're all friendly. We haven't kept in touch like we should have, but when we get together, it's like old times."

Paul McCartney Warns One Direction
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: The Charts, Pop, Rock,
Paul McCartney has warned One Direction being compared to The Beatles could be a "kiss of death."
The Beatles are one of the biggest bands in history, but Paul - the group's songwriter and bass player - thinks too much pressure is put on artists when they're compared to such iconic acts, and instead people should just call them "the next terrific band."
"There are so many bands who all get called, 'The next Beatles'. Suddenly it puts an awful lot of pressure on them to be the next Beatles. Oasis were, 'The next Beatles' once if you remember. It's a pressure, because suddenly you've got to live up to all the things that we did, and it was a different time. So let's just call them, 'The next terrific band.'"
One Direction are currently taking America by storm, and earlier this month made history by becoming the first UK act to top the American chart with their debut album, Up All Night.
Paul wishes the boy band well for the States, where they are returning for another tour later this year: "They're doing well in America. It's good - good luck lads."

Simon Cowell Can’t Sleep Because of One Direction

Simon Cowell is "too excited to sleep" about One Direction's success in the US.
The British boy band are currently on tour in America and the success and screaming girls which have followed them has left their mentor suffering sleepless nights. "He's really, really excited about the reaction we've had out here and has said he's not sleeping properly because he keeps thinking about us and how it's going. He's far too excited to sleep. Which is quite cool," said the group's Louis Tomlinson.
The group - who's debut album Up All Night is tipped to top the US charts tomorrow - were initially told it would take them much longer to crack the difficult US market, but microblogging site Twitter has helped them gain fans.

Boy band fans (or should we call them man bands now?) will see all their dreams realized in 2011: the New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys are close to teaming up for a tour of the United States. (Too bad it’s not 1996.)
NKOTB recently reunited, and now it seems they’re ready to take the act (back) on the road. Reportedly, the two bands are in negotiations with Live Nation Entertainment to book the event.
The New Kids teamed up with the Boys once before, performing together at Radio City Music Hall. A third band is also being considered for the tour. Boyz II Men is rumored to be the first pick.
