Justin Bieber’s Personal Album
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Upcoming Releases, Hip-Hop & Rap, Pop,
Justin Bieber wanted his second album to be as personal as possible.
The 18-year-old singer has just released his second LP Believe and says when he was writing it he wanted to focus on all the good and bad things that have happened to him, including Mariah Yeater claiming he had fathered her child: "I'm always inspired by different things that I've gone through. Over the past couple of years, there are things I want to talk about - even with Mariah claiming that she had my baby. I wanted to be able to talk about that with my album."
Justin also revealed how he finds it easier to write songs after dark as he feels he is much more focused after dark. "The nighttime is usually the best time for creativity, because my mind wanders, and I'm able to focus more."
While he was inspired by the allegations, Justin recently admitted Mariah's paternity suit last year almost made him quit the music business: "At the beginning of it all I was in Florida, away from my friends and family and I was pretty sad. I got to the point where I thought, 'I don't want to do this. I just want to be normal'. It was difficult because I'd never gone through anything like that."

Justin Bieber almost quit music.
The "Boyfriend" singer - who releases his second album Believe next month - admits he almost gave up on his singing career as he couldn't cope with the pressure.
"There were so many times when I just wanted to say, 'Enough is enough, I don't want to do this any more,'" he said.
The 18-year-old heartthrob says it was only the love that he felt from his millions of fans that he decided to carry on. Speaking about the lyrics, "You kept my heart from falling," in one of his new songs, Justin told The Hollywood Reporter, "I think it's so important to me because it's about my fans and how much they've helped me. They really have kept my heart from falling because they've always been there and supported me and cheered me on."
Believe is set to be released on June 18.

Justin Bieber says there isn't a lot of rapping on his new album. The 18-year-old singer can be heard talking/rapping on his latest track "Boyfriend," but he insists his upcoming third LP Believe is still a traditional pop record.
"There's not a lot of rapping on the album. As people know, I'm a singer, and I don't want to get people confused with that, but it's something that I love to do, so you guys will definitely hear more of it," he told MTV News.
On "Boyfriend" the verses are performed in a rap style by Bieber and the lyrics include the lines "If I was your boyfriend, I'd never let you go/ I can take you places you ain't never been before/ Baby take a chance or you'll never ever know/ I got money in my hands that I'd really like to blow/ Swag swag swag, on you."
The music superstar has collaborated with several big names on the record, including Timbaland, Drake and Lil Wayne.

Justin Bieber and Drake will record together next month. The "Find Your Love" rapper is "excited" about collaborating with 17-year-old singing sensation Justin for a track to go on his forthcoming third album, Believe.
"Me and Justin are going in the studio in January to work on his new album, so I'm excited about that. That's definitely gotta be one of the most talented kids doing music right now," Drake told a crowd on Saturday in Los Angeles.
Justin previously revealed Drake would be among a number of "cool" artists he had lined up to work on his next record: "I'm working with a lot of cool people. I'm working with Kanye. Drake is gonna work on the album with me and a lot of different artists."
While Justin is pleased with the stars who will feature on his next album, he has previously admitted he would most like to record a track with his girlfriend, Disney starlet Selena Gomez: "Maybe I'd sing with Selena, I've heard all of her new stuff and it's amazing. I would also love to work with Will.i.am as well as Jay-Z on a cool, fun record."
