Lady Gaga Approves of Alice Cooper’s ‘Born This Way’

Lady Gaga has given her seal of approval to Alice Cooper's version of "Born This Way."
Shock rock legend Alice has recently started playing his own heavy version of the "Bad Romance" singer's track live, and said she was impressed when she heard it.
"Gaga loved it, she emailed us - she's in Australia right now - and said she loved it, I just thought it was such a great track, and the lyrics, 'My momma told me when I was young / she did my hair and put my lipstick on,' for Alice Cooper to sing that, it's funny," Alice said.
The "Under My Wheels" singer also explained he prepared the song especially to appeal to the young crowd at last weekend's Bonnaroo festival: "We figured 15 to 25 was probably the average age out there, and I was thinking of a song that would be of their generation, so I said, 'What about "Born This Way"?' Because that song could be a rock song, it just needed a different attitude."

Lady Gaga suffered concussion during her concert in New Zealand over the weekend.
The "Born This Way" singer was performing her hit song "Judas" at the concert in Auckland when a dancer accidentally hit her on the head with a pole which was being used as a stage prop.
However, Gaga carried on with the show as she didn't want to let her fans down: "I want to apologize. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion but don't you worry I will finish this show."
She went on to sing 16 more songs and her make-up artist Tara Savelo was very impressed she managed to carry on. "GaGa has a concussion but she is going to be okay. She wants u to know she loves u. I'm taking care of her. cant believe she finished the show. (sic)" she wrote on her Twitter.

Kanye West launched an expletive-filled tirade against a fan during his performance in Paris at the weekend.
The "All Of The Lights" hitmaker was furious when an audience member shone a laser pen in his direction at the show in France, causing the star - who was performing as part of he and Jay-Z's Watch The Throne world tour - ordered the man to "chill the f**k out" or be thrown out of the venue.
"You see this guy right here with the green laser? Don't f**k with everybody's show. This is not a f**king game. You're going to get f**ked up and kicked out, I don't want that s**t. So chill the f**k out," he said.
Following his rant, Kanye attempted to get the show back on track: "Are y'all having a good time this evening? I said, are y'all having a good time this evening?"
The gig was shrouded in further controversy because of a Tweet sent by Jay-Z's friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

Arctic Monkeys is ‘Heavy Metal in Disguise’

Metallica thinks that Arctic Monkeys is a "heavy metal band disguised as an indie band."
The "Enter Sandman" group have signed the British rockers to appear at their Orion festival in the US, and while some think they are a weird choice to play alongside a metal band, drummer Lars Ulrich can see the band's hidden heavier side: "For me, having the Arctic Monkeys on there is big. I think they're a heavy metal band disguised as an indie band. If you listen to a song like 'Perhaps Vampires Is a Bit Strong But...' there's almost a Rush element in there."

Kylie Minogue: Performing is Like a Drug

Kylie Minogue says performing is "like a drug."
The "Timebomb" singer - who has been in showbiz for 25 years - admits being on stage in front of thousands of fans is a huge thrill and can sometimes be hard to come down from.
"It is like a drug: the adrenaline is so strong and it's such a high that coming back down can be terrible. That's why I consider myself an artist rather than a pop star," she said.
Kylie, 44, admits she still gets nervous before her performances and has to calm herself down before she goes on stage: "I tell myself it is the same for everybody. Without the applause, life would seem very quiet."
The "Slow" hitmaker - who first shot to same playing Charlene Ramsay in Australian soap Neighbours - also revealed how she tries to keep her stage persona separate from her everyday life. "I just take off my gladrags. Without them, I'm a surprised some people still look at me on the street," she said.

The 53-year-old singer launched her MDNA concert series with a spectacular show at Tel Aviv's Ramat Gan Stadium, where she wished peace on the Middle East.
"I chose to start my world tour in Israel for a very specific and important reason. As you know, the Middle East and all the conflicts that have been occurring here for thousands of years - they have to stop," she told the cheering crowd.
During the concert, Madonna also took a swipe at Lady Gaga, who was accused of copying her song "Express Yourself" for her recent hit "Born This Way." Lady Gaga’s New Album Will Be ‘Insane’

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Artist News, Concerts / Tours, Upcoming Releases, Dance, Pop,
Lady Gaga's new album will be "insane."
The "Marry the Night" hitmaker is already working on the follow-up to Born This Way - which was released in May 2011 - and her co-manager, Vincent Herbert, thinks it will defy all expectations.
"There's a lot of work to come, [I'm] very excited about it. [It's] just an insane, great record. She's on tour right now, but it's just going to be a great record. Look out for the unexpected when it comes to her. We're doing it on the road right now, so it's a little hard, but it's going to be great," Vincent said, speaking to website That Grape Juice.
Gaga is currently undertaking a two-year Born This Way Ball world tour but won't let that get in the way of her plans to make a new album, as parts of Born This Way were also recorded on the road. Her single "Marry The Night" took shape with producer Fernando Garibay whilst on her previous tour in 2009.
