Andrew Garfield Wants a New Costume For Spider-Man 2

Andrew Garfield as Spider-ManAndrew Garfield wants some costume adjustments when he makes the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man.

The 28-year-old actor - who plays Peter Parker and his superhero alter-ego in the movie reboot - admitted he had difficulties getting in and out of the costume which caused him some problems on set, especially when he needed to use the restroom.

"It's like you have to body-shoehorn yourself out of it. It looks good, but they didn't really consider that, the whole bodily-functions thing. But next time we will remember that I am human. We're going to make it easier for me to p**s. That's number one," he told MTV.

Andrew also revealed he had trouble seeing out of the crusader's mask which caused problems for him while filming stunts. Speaking about the mask, he said, "That was tough as well, but I don't think we can readjust that because the eyes have to be the eyes. That was hard, visibility was hard, especially for the bigger stunts because you need to know what you're doing."

The Amazing Spider-Man is set for release in July.

Christian Bale Will Miss the Batman Suit

Christian BaleChristian Bale will miss his Batman suit, despite its heat and the headaches it caused him.

The Dark Knight Rises star appears as the caped crusader for the last time in the final instalment of the trilogy, and although the character's trademark black suit was awkward to swear, it has a special place in his heart.

"For all the discomfort and the heat and the sweat and the headaches and everything from it, when you sit back and watch the movie at the end of the day, you go: 'Well, that's f***ing cool.' I will miss that, it was a good bit of rubber," he said.

Meanwhile Christian's co-star, Anne Hathaway, who plays Batman's adversary, Catwoman, in the film was excited when she saw the clever way they worked her character's cat ears into the costume, as they are a pair of goggles which flip up when not used, to look like points on the top of her head: "I got chills when I saw that. I was so happy they had such a clever solution to a really iconic but sometimes unnecessary part of the costume."

The Dark Knight Rises - which also stars Tom Hardy as supervillain Bane - is in theaters in July.

Mark Ruffalo’s Superhero Costume Problems

Mark Ruffalo as Bruce BannerMark Ruffalo felt like an "a******" wearing a leotard while shooting The Avengers.

The Kids Are All Right actor plays Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the forthcoming Marvel movie, and while he didn't mind losing weight for the role he was embarrassed wearing a small body suit.

"I did a cleanse that was like hell. I lost 21 pounds and I've kept about 15 off. I quite like it - it's good to be a little trimmer. I felt like such an a****** wearing The Hulk's little leotard though. When they were designing it, I was like, 'How about adding a codpiece?', 'Some ass pads?' It's not very flattering."

However, he is excited he is now playing the opposite to his usual nice guy roles: "They say you always play the opposite of yourself the best, so I must be b*****d! I'm interested in the people you might write off immediately, but can then be surprised by. I get that a lot about myself."

Photo: Chris Evans as Captain America

Chris Evans, Captain AmericaCaptain America, comic books

This is the first look we’ve had of Chris Evans in Captain America: The First Avenger, and it’s not half-bad … though, a little different from what many comic book fans were expecting.

The new costume looks more like a flight suit than the superhero’s iconic spandex get-up, but that’s been done on purpose.

“You can’t really take him serious in his flag pajamas,” director Joe Johnston explained to Entertainment Weekly in a past interview.

Rosario Dawson Wants Sin City Sequel Soon

Rosario Dawson in Sin CitySin City actress Rosario Dawson said that she needs the sequel to happen soon if she’s going to fit into the barely-there outfits.

The 31-year-old actress - who played prostitute dominatrix Gail in the first movie adaptation of the graphic novel - explained while she is keen to work on a sequel, director Robert Rodriguez needs to start filming soon or she will feel too old for the skimpy costumes associated with the character.

“The last time I saw Robert Rodriguez was a month ago and he really wants to make Sin City 2 happen. I said, ‘I understand you’ve been taking your time, but if you want me to wear the outfit that fits into one hand, dude. I’m not getting any younger.’”

The star also admitted she is grateful for her unusual looks - which are a combination of her Puerto Rican, Afro-Cuban, Native American and Irish descent - as some of her more conventional-looking friends struggle to find acting work: “I have friends of mine who are actresses, who all have blonde hair and blue eyes, tell me they think I am going to work more than them. One of my friends in particular - and she’s a pretty big actress - said, ‘There are a million girls who show up who look just like me every single day in Los Angeles fighting for the exact same job.’”

Gone With the Wardrobe: Save Scarlett O’Hara’s Gowns

Gone With the Wind - Scarlett O'Hara Ball GownGowns worn by Vivien Leigh’s Scarlett O’Hara in are in need of some serious renovation. The Harry Ransom Center, University of Texas, is trying to raise $30,000 to restore five iconic gowns from the movie, which fascinated the world and swept the Oscars in 1939.

An exhibit of the gowns is planned in 2014 to mark the 75th anniversary of the famous film, but most of the dresses are not suitable for display.

The gowns in question are some of the most famous and well-loved from the epic motion picture: Scarlett’s green curtain frock, the burgundy ball gown she wore to Melanie’s party, the blue velvet night gown she wore during her fight with Rhett Butler and her wedding dress. The Ransom Center did not acquire the gowns until the 1980s, after they had toured the world.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Her 48 SATC2 Costumes

Carrie Bradshaw

Believe it or not, has 48 costume changes in Sex and the City 2.

The actress - who reprises her role as glamorous journalist in the movie sequel - admits she changed outfits so many times, more than 10 were lost to the cutting room floor.

“I think I have about 48. We started off with 60 and I think scenes were cut and scenes didn’t make it. So I think between scenes being cut prior to shooting and us not being able to find a good enough reason to change clothes on camera, which is what I would do if they would let me, I think we end up in high 40s.”

Robert Downey Jr Has Iron Head

Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man has an Iron Man head at his house.

The actor - who plays the superhero and his alter-ego Tony Stark in upcoming sequel - took the metal mask from the set as a memento but insists his home isn’t too geeky.

Downey - who lives with his film producer wife Susan Levin - said, “I have an Iron Man head at home and various other bits downstairs but my home isn’t a shrine to Iron Man. But I think it’s cool.”

The 45-year-old star can’t wait for fans to see the movie and admits he is immensely proud to play the much-loved comic book character. He added, “It’s mind-blowing to me because I’d always felt like I wanted to - and could - do something like this. I have probably taken Iron Man 2 more seriously than any other movie I’ve ever done, which is appropriately ridiculous for Hollywood.”

Downey has previously revealed he asked film bosses to let him take one of the superhero’s full suits home: “The producers keep telling me that they’re going to give me a suit with all the bells and whistles but I still don’t have it. I don’t know, maybe I should get it in my contract. It would be great to have one at home - a talking point.”
