Lauren Conrad Prefers the Natural Look

Lauren Conrad wouldn't have cosmetic surgery.
The 26-year-old fashion designer - who rose to fame on TV series Laguna Beach - admits she would be unlikely to go under the knife because she prefers to look "natural."
"Personally, I have always preferred a more natural look. That is what is more attractive to me, but it's up to each person. As long as you are doing it for you, because you want to look nice and that's the result you are going for, then that's fine."
However Lauren - who has now written her first book The Fame Game - admits she does feel under pressure to always look her best because she is always in the spotlight: "There is always pressure to work out a little harder when all eyes are on you. I don't think I ever felt the pressure as much as some people, but it was definitely at the back of my mind."

Emma Stone: I’ve Not Worked Out For a Month
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Health & Beauty,
Emma Stone hasn't worked out for a month - and she is "proud." The 23-year-old Spider-Man star admits she gets overcome by rage in the gym, so has decided that it is best to avoid it.
"I had a trainer during Spider-Man and I discovered I have deep-seated rage when I'm holding heavy weights over my head. Whatever dormant anger I have in me, that's where it comes out. That's not the kind of working out I want to do. I would much rather sleep at night than want to throw a weight across a room at someone. I'm usually a pretty peaceful person, but for some reason when I get in the gym something bubbles up in me."
But while she admits to being plagued by body insecurities, she had a cunning trick to disguise them: "I do have that thing of, 'Oh my God, I'm disgusting! I ate a huge Wagamama lunch, the whole yaki soba, and I feel so fat.' But I'm still going to eat that stuff, and you know what? You can get nice, loose clothes that cover it all up... I'm not going to go parading around in a bikini. OK, I did that in a photo shoot once, but it's about what you're comfortable with at the time you're comfortable with it. That was a good day, but you won't hear me saying I have no body issues because I wouldn't be human if I didn't."

Reality star Kourtney Kardashian credits her baby son with keeping her fit.
The 31 year-old gave birth to little Mason in December, and while motherhood means she no longer has time for the gym, she has found it has other benefits in helping her maintain her figure.
“My fitness regimen is basically non-existent right now. Although taking care of Mason keeps me very active, and I do take him on walks. I do jumping squats while holding Mason and he laughs so hard when I jump with him. I only do like three a day though.”

Actress and stylish celebrity Blake Lively credits gymnastic acrobatics for her newly-toned figure.
The Gossip Girl actress had to get in shape to play villainess Star Sapphire in new movie Green Lantern and spent hours training with members from the Cirque du Soleil to give her the body she needed.
She told Vogue, “All I want is to be a hero to my nephews and nieces. I’m going to be the coolest aunt ever. Our director likes it real - the fights close and dirty. I’m 40 feet in the air, spiralling around. That’s the best workout you can ever do because it’s all core. You do that for ten minutes and you should see your body the next day! It’s so exhilarating, so thrilling - and nauseating.”
The 22-year-old beauty’s personal trainer also confirmed Blake had put in that extra bit of effort to get into tip-top shape. Bobby Strom told Us Weekly, “She always looks good. But she has to do stunts, so we’re focusing on core and strength training. Her workout routine includes four-day-a-week, 90-minute circuit training sessions full of planks, push- ups and walking lunges in a gym near the film’s New Orleans set. She looked at her stomach and said, ‘I have abs!’”

Me and Orson Welles actress Claire Danes only goes to the gym to watch TV.
Danes revealed her toned, slender physique is due to the hours spent catching up on her favorite TV shows while in the gym each day.
“I’ve become a bit of a gym person. I feel apologetic about it because it looks a little un-cool, but I like to have an appointment every day. Plus it’s the only time I watch TV.”
The 30-year-old star - who secretly married her Evening co-star Hugh Dancy in September - also admitted she stays in shape by dancing to Caribbean soul music.
“Some of my happiest moments have been dancing. But I’m not very hip. Right now, I’m really into Jamaican jams, Caribbean soul and stuff.”
Mark Ronson Avoids T-Shirts

Mark Ronson has started going to the gym because he hates his arms. The music producer, who is widely considered a trendsetter, has never been happy with his arms and his body hang-ups have prevented him wearing certain items of clothing.
“Even at 24, I wouldn’t wear T-shirts because I hated the way my arms looked. I worked out on and off until I was about 30, then I got bored, or lazy. Now I’m 33 I feel it’s time to start doing something a little bit more healthy.”
Mark enjoys sporting smart outfits when he is working on new material in the recording studio and uses fashion to show he is serious about his work: “I dress up to come to the studio. Looking at old pictures of the Blue Note session guys or Phil Spector, going to work to do a job. The Abbey Road guys even wore lab coats. I haven’t tried that look out yet.”
Mark has also spoken about the line of sneakers he has created for Gucci. The music star insists his collection with the Italian fashion house is nothing like Kanye West‘s footwear collaboration with Louis Vuitton: “My shoes are from the 30s and his are from the future.”
