Madonna’s New Dolce and Gabbana Campaign?
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers,
Madonna is reportedly set to star in another campaign for Dolce and Gabbana.
The 51-year-old singer appeared in a stunning series of adverts for the Italian designers last year and it is thought she will be the face of their Fall/Winter 2010 womenswear range. The duo - who are good friends with Madonna - are currently in New York filming their new menswear campaign at Mulberry Street Bar and the “Material Girl” hitmaker was spotted very near the venue.
It has also been reported Madonna’s favorite photographer, Steven Klein, will be shooting in very same Manhattan area over the next few days for the designers. If the rumors are true, it will be the latest collaboration between the star and the fashion house.
As well as appearing in last year’s campaign, it was recently revealed she is to design a collection of sunglasses which bear the letter ‘M’ on the arm. Stefano Gabbana said, “We’re so excited. This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us. She is very exacting and a professional who seeks perfection in everything she does, and this was no exception.” Madonna will also star in the advertising images for the eyewear line, which were shot by Klein and will be released next month to coincide with the launch.

Madonna Stars in Dolce & Gabbana Campaign

The Queen of Pop has seemed to move on from Marc Jacobs and has now moved on to cozying up with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, starring in their upcoming Spring/Summer ‘10 ad campaign.
While the Dolce & Gabbana pair have worked with Madonna in the past for her stage costumes, she has never taken to glossy pages for them until now. It probably helps that her current boy toy, model Jesus Luz, starred in the previous ad campaign for their fall line (he probably wants to remain employed).
“To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true,” the designing duo said.
Shot last week in New York City by celebrated photographer Steven Klein, I’m fairly excited for the photos; however, I’m hoping that we’ll be able to recognize her face this time around (as opposed to her controversial Louis Vuitton ads that were highly edited).

First Look: Enrique Iglesias for Azzaro Pour Homme
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, Health & Beauty, News, Men,

Treading right behind Hayden Christensen for Lacoste and Justin Timberlake for Givenchy, Enrique Iglesias lends his famous face to the men’s fragrance Azzaro Pour Homme.
Steven Klein shot the campaign; if the rest of it is anything like this image, I would say that they were clearly going for a modern-day Don Juan look. The fragrance is expected to sell in selected Macy’s stores.
To me, this is nothing new for Enrique—doesn’t he look like this in all of his videos?

Rihanna Goes Topless For Vogue
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, Women,
Rihanna has posed topless for Italian Vogue.
The “Umbrella” singer has taken part in a raunchy photo shoot with famed fashion photographer Steven Klein for the magazine’s annual couture supplement.
The Grace Jones-inspired cover of the special publication sees the star clad in a structural feathered Valentino gown and patent knee-high boots, throwing a bucket of water at the camera. Inside, the daring pictures see the “S.O.S.” star clad in just skimpy pants, with glitter covering her chest. Other images show her in a Madonna-style conical bra, and another has her donning a sharp-shouldered jacket teemed with just lace knickers and suspenders and boots.
The Barbados-born beauty’s hair also dazzles in the pictures, sculpted into a range of high quiffs and cones, teamed with dramatic dark eye make-up and deep red lips.
Most of the pictures have been shot in black and white, with a lone color photograph depicting her wearing a turquoise dress and boots.
