While Marc Jacobs might have received some flak for hiring Miley Cyrus for its Spring 2014 ad campaign, the label will surely win those fans back (and then some!) with the announcement of their decision to hire Jessica Lange as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty.
The brand offered up a preview - shot by David Sims - in which Lange naturally pulls off the sultry-but-fierce look beneath some very noir-ish shadows. Even Jeurgen Teller couldn't resist photographing that face!

+ Just as Christian Louboutins are known for their red heels, Sarah Jessica Parker is setting her own shoe trademark: grosgrain ribbons stitched to the back of the heels. The Sex and the City actress - who made Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo household names - talks freely about the inspiration and production of her own shoe collection (which Blahnik had a hand in designing himself!).
+ Despite being the latest Pantene Pro-V spokesmodel, Gisele Bundchen admits that her hair is constantly brushed by other people in her career that she doesn't even own a hairbrush. So, ladies: brushes are so passé these days.
+ While here at ChicDish we released the previews of Miu Miu's Spring/Summer 2014 campaign - which features Elizabeth Olsen, Elle Fanning, and Lupita Nyong'o - the label put out more ads featuring the actresses (as well as some featuring Dark Shadows actress Bella Heathcote). Check them out here!

Blake Lively Is the New Face of L’Oreal
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrities, Health & Beauty, News,
After spending some time out of the spotlight - presumably due to her wedding to Ryan Reynolds last year - Blake Lively has emerged as the new spokesmodel for L'Oreal Paris.
The 26 year-old Gossip Girl veteran was recently unveiled as the latest face of the cosmetic giant, who released two black and white images of Lively (the second can be seen after the jump) today in celebration of the announcement.
"I grew up with the inspiration of [L'Oreal's] message, 'We're worth it.' What an important value to instill in women... That is why I'm so proud to be a L'Oreal Paris woman," the actress said in a statement. "I am thrilled and honored to join the incredible women who represent L'Oreal Paris."
Like her predecessors before her - Eva Longoria, Scarlett Johansson (who happens to be her husband's ex-wife), Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce among them - Lively is likely to star in numerous hair and makeup campaigns that are probably going to be so ubiquitous that you'll contemplate cancelling your cable and/or Hulu service.

Audrina Patridge Leaves Bongo
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Models, News,
Audrina Patridge has left Bongo to concentrate on her own designs. The reality TV star is stepping down as a spokesmodel for the brand after two years and while she has had a good time working with the company, she is looking forward to going it alone.
"Nothing lasts forever, so it's all good. It's been two years, so it's almost like a little family. The whole crew has been amazing - they made it really fun for me to work with them and travel. They were always so creative and they always made it special. I'm already looking into either lingerie or bikinis. I'm really excited about that."
Audrina also offered her tips for party style over the festive period, advising to "go all the way" with elaborate outfits. "[Festive] clothes are all about sparkles. You have to be festive. If you're going to dress up or you're going to decorate, you go all the way. I'll always add sparkly jewelry and red lips. When it comes to dressing for New Year's Eve, Audrina suggests upping the fun factor with lots of glitter: "Whether it's a sequin dress or sequin skirt, or leggings or something like that, it's fun. You can get away with making it a little more funky."

Actress Natalie Portman has been named as the new spokesmodel for Parfums Christian Dior.
The 28 year-old signed a deal with the French fashion house to front a new campaign - the first time she has represented a fragrance and cosmetics brand.
“We are extremely excited to have Miss Portman embody our house. She will symbolize with grace the values of luxury and the glamour of Dior,” Claude Martinez, president and chief executive officer of Parfums Christian Dior, said.
It is not yet known which project Natalie - who follows in the footsteps of Sharon Stone, Charlize Theron, Jude Law and Monica Bellucci - will be involved in. Despite her striking beauty, Natalie recently admitted she is concerned about losing her looks after seeing so many aging actresses struggle.
“You see people who were stars five years ago and already they’re waning. As actresses approach 40, it starts becoming really, really difficult.”

Eclipse actress Ashley Greene is the new face of Avon’s affordable beauty brand Mark.
The 23-year-old, who plays Alice Cullen in the hit vampire movie franchise, is “thrilled” to have signed a deal with the cosmetics firm, replacing The Hills star Lauren Conrad.
“I am thrilled to join the Mark family. Mark has been on my radar not only because of their great fashion and beauty products, but because the brand inspires young women to feel beautiful inside and out,” said Ashley, who will appear on a series of TV and magazine adverts.
“Ashley has a natural beauty, but I love that she experiments with fashion. She mixes it up and makes it her own. We have this mission of celebrating young women making their mark on the world. Ashley has set goals for herself and is achieving those goals,” said global president Claudia Poccia.
Ashley - whose first advertising campaign will launch this autumn - says she was attracted to the company because of its approach towards young girls: “What really sealed the deal was its empowering message to young women, which is something I relate to.”

The 31-year-old actress - daughter of screen comedy legend Goldie Hawn - will front the new worldwide campaign for the cosmetics brand in her new role as Global Brand Ambassador.
Kate - who replaces model Elaine Irwin-Mellencamp - said in a statement, “Almay is known for its fresh, effortless approach to beauty. I share that philosophy and I’m honored to be partnering with a brand that believes cosmetics should bring out the natural beauty inside every woman. At the end of the day, we all want to have fun and feel beautiful - that’s what Almay is all about.”
The company’s vice president of marketing Thomas Lauinger admits the Bride Wars star “embodies” the look of the company: “Almay as a brand has a very loyal consumer base. They know and love Elaine, who has been the face for many years. But now we are really going to the next level with Almay with a fresh face that reflects the image and core values of the brand and Kate really embodies that for us.”
Vanessa Paradis Lends Her Lips to Chanel

French songstress and starlet Vanessa Paradis is the new face of Chanel lipstick.
The 36-year-old actress-and-model will star in a global campaign for the luxury make-up range’s new collection Rouge Coco de Chanel, which will be available to buy from 2010.
Chanel said that Vanessa was chosen due to her “modern elegance, boldness of character and power of emotion.” No further information on the advertising campaign or who will shoot it has been announced.
It is not the first time Vanessa, the longtime love of Johnny Depp, has worked with Chanel: in 1992, she starred in adverts for the luxury fashion house’s Coco perfume. In the campaign, she was seen dressed as a bird swinging from a cage. In 2003, she became creative director Karl Lagerfeld’s muse and promoted Chanel’s Cambon handbags. Two years later she starred in campaigns for The New Mademoiselle handbag.
Cindy Crawford to become the face of SPAR Beauty Kiss
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Health & Beauty, Models,
Cindy Crawford has become the face of a budget beauty brand. The supermodel, who has previously worked cosmetics giants Revlon and Maybelline, signed up to promote shop chain SPAR’s Beauty Kiss toiletry range and has posed in a series of raunchy shots. The 43-year-old beauty looks sensational in the pictures, wearing a cutaway black swimsuit.
Cindy has previously said thinks she looks “pretty good” naked for a mother-of-two and is happy with the way her body has aged. She said: “I think I look pretty good for 43, but I don’t look the way I did when I was 23.” Cindy, who raises nine-year-old son Presley Walker and daughter Kaia Jordan, seven, with her husband of 10 years Rande Gerber, said she pays most attention to her hands and chest because they are the areas most affected by aging. She explained: “In Los Angeles, there are 65-year-old women walking around in Juicy sweatpants, and from the back you’d think they were 20. But when you see their hands or their neck, you know.”
