It's all about rising actresses for Miu Miu's most recent ad campaign, as it showcases the modeling talents of Elizabeth Olsen (who, considering her sisters are fashion mavens Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, is no stranger to designer labels), Elle Fanning, and 12 Years a Slave star Lupita Nyong'o.

Olsen (above photo) channels her inner 70's vixen with her poker straight hair and thigh high socks under suede boots. Elle (photo after the jump) strikes an awkward pose - is she going for demure or mysterious? - but pulls off the Miu Miu printed dress with yellow stockings and red shoes brilliantly. Lupita (photo after the jump) - in her first fashion campaign, mind you! - looks a little stiff but nonetheless striking in a beaded bustier top, navy skirt, hot pink stockings, and some seriously chunky white sandals.

FIRST LOOK: Nicole Kidman Strips Down for Jimmy Choo

Carrie Bradshaw, eat your heart out.

The Hours actress Nicole Kidman has bared it all for shoe designer Jimmy Choo in the company's latest ad campaign, proving that she's still looking fierce in her 40's. Despite her amazing figure, it was apparently the mother of three's acting resume that inspired creative director Sandra Choi to hire her to sell their shoes.

"I love Nicole Kidman's openness to embracing a new character and each season she transforms into a new personality that embodies the spirit of the collection... Her poses are striking yet unexpected and her natural beauty is mesmerizing. She exudes feminine confidence and there's a palpable sense of energy to the pictures," Choi said in a statement..

Kidman - who is married to country singer and American Idol judge Keith Urban - is pictured in one photo (to the right) wearing nothing but a purse and stockings while donning a blazer that barely covers her chest matched with barely-there panties in another (seen after the jump).

Items Du Jour: Britney Goes Platinum, Tyra’s War on “Plus-Size” Term

+ The Kardashian trio unveiled their latest clothing collection, which they launched in collaboration with British retailer Lipsy. Unsurprisingly, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe model off their floral, curve-hugging dresses in the adverts for the line (perhaps it's the only way they'd be able to sell it?). Major kudos that they're not of the typical sequined and glittery New Year's Eve dress fare, but at the same time, I can't imagine women flocking to the stores (or in Americans' cases, online store) for a summery frock when they're looking for something festive.

+ Britney Spears surprised fans with a Twitter photo showcasing her new hair color: platinum blonde. Love it or leave it?

+ Tyra Banks seems to have joined Jennifer Lawrence in the war against negative body image words, claiming that she refuses to utter "plus-size," instead opting for "fiercely real." Not sure how quickly the latter will catch on, but it's a start!

+ Realizing that there is actually a profit in larger-sized clothing now that their business is failing, Abercrombie & Fitch - who raised controversy this year over refusing to sell larger sizes for women - has decided to eat their words and sell larger sizes to "compete against rivals."

+ Jennifer Lawrence - who joins Pamela Anderson and Kristin Chenoweth in getting pixie cuts this month - says that she cut her hair short because "it just couldn't get any uglier."

+ Alessandra Ambrosia is feeling a little nostalgic as this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show approaches, as she offers up a candid backstage photo of her and fellow Angel Adriana Lima from 13 years ago.

+ Mario Testino shot Winona Ryder for next month's cover of V magazine - and is she as stunning as ever! Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele styles her biker chick looks, which seem to reflect the character she portrays in her upcoming film, Homefront.

Fashion Police: An Indecisive Miley Cyrus

Forget her faithful, little Monsters - Lady Gaga has her own Mini-Me running around Los Angeles: her name is Miley Cyrus.

The bipolar antics of her rumored new beau Justin Bieber must have rubbed off on the TV star-turned-pop star, as she showed up to a MySpace event in Los Angeles in a hybrid of jeans and sweat pants. While I consistently admire her daring fashion risks, this particular look may have clashed just a bit too much - perhaps it would have been better for a more casual outing? Will her jean/sweat pant hybrids become a fashion fav, or is Miley just off the mark completely?

UK Retailer Pledges to Avoid Major Ad Retouching

U.K. retailer Debenhams made a bold move in the fight against the over-airbrushing of women in advertisements this week. The company has announced it will ban major retouching of lingerie models in the future, hopefully setting a precedent for American counterparts like Macy's.

"We want to help customers feel confident about their figures without bombarding them with unattainable body images... As well as being a positive from a moral point of view, it ticks the economic boxes as well. Millions of pounds a year are spent by organizations retouching perfectly good images," said the company's head lingerie buyer, Sharon Webb.

PHOTOS: Pink Shaves Half Her Head

Never to be one who blends in with the crowd, Pink has adopted an interesting choice in hair style this month. Not unlike what Avril Lavigne has been doing to hers, the pop singer and mother of one has shaved half her head and transformed the other side from a pixie cut to flowing platinum extensions (with a touch of pink, of course). The "Just Give Me a Reason" singer has no regrets about her drastic hair decision, writing on Twitter, “Officially decided that June is crazy hair month. If there’s something you have been wanting to do—go for it! No Fear! Crazy hair is fun."

Not only is French electronic duo Daft Punk making waves and breakin records in the music business, but they're now appearing to dominate the fashion industry, too.

A New Yorker snapped up this photo of the pair with newly-appointed Victoria's Secret angel Karlie Kloss. Dressed in dapper suits that some believe to be from Hedi Slimane, the musical group appears to be shooting an editorial or new music video.

There's been no official word from either party as to what they were up to in the Midtown streets, so we'll just have to play the waiting game to find out.

Billboard Music Awards 2013: the Good, the Bad, and the Sparkly

While the Billboard Music Awards are no Met Gala, one would hope that the celebrities would at least aspire to such style for the event. Judging from the various frocks that graced Billboard's blue carpet, however, the musically-inclined celebs failed to put much effort into this awards show. Whether it was the Las Vegas heat or some overextended stylists (between the Met Gala, Cannes, and this, who can blame them?), the fashion at the Billboard Music Awards fell short with a few good looks and way too many shine-inducing materials.

The Good: American Idol judge Nicki Minaj, known for her colorful and over-the-top costumes, scaled back her look by opting for a red number which made her cleavage take center stage and yet still managed to look classy.

Country pop singer Shania Twain showed up in a silver-white Pavoni by Mikael D gown looking like a modern-day Greek goddess.

Hayden Panettiere - who currently stars in the country music television drama Nashville - opted for black like many others in attendance, but her simple, sleek floor-length dress was the best of them all.

Fashion Police: Rihanna Double Take

Don't worry - you do not have vision problems.

Rihanna is, in fact, wearing one pair of pants designed with two tops. To celebrate her recent venture into the world of fashion design, the popstar threw a party for the launch of her collection for River Island and showed up wearing this interesting look. Though the white crop top with jeans fittingly ring in springtime fashion, her plain black sandals are a little too casual for the 24 year-old fashionista we have come to know and love. Is Rihanna's look refreshing or in need of restyling?
