Heidi Klum Moves in Trainer to Shed Baby Weight

Heidi Klum in Marchesa Supermodel Heidi Klum‘s personal trainer has moved in with her to help get her into shape.

The German supermodel is desperate to shed the weight she gained while pregnant with daughter Lou - her fourth child who was born last month - before a Victoria’s Secret catwalk show next week and has embarked on a grueling diet and exercise regime under the guidance of expert David Kirsch.

A source said, “Heidi’s swapped processed carbs, sugar, dairy and fruit for egg-white omelettes, spinach salads and grilled tuna with quinoa. She’s determined to wow everyone when she walks. She’s pushing herself through gruelling twice-daily workouts.”

Heidi has previously admitted she is struggling to lose her baby weight and finds it much tougher than she did after having her other children, Leni, five, Henri, four, and Johan, three: “I wouldn’t say I’m back in shape yet. Everything changes when you get older. It was different when I was 31 with the first one and now being 36 with the fourth one.”

She is now hitting the treadmill and eating sensibly in a bid to get back in shape as she fears she will remain bigger forever if she doesn’t act now: “I think that if you wait too long and it sticks there it stays that way forever. I have to be motivated.”

Madonna’s Exercise Regime Revealed

Madonna with trainer Tracy AndersonMadonna trains for two hours a day, six days a week.

The “Material Girl” singer, famed for her sculptured body, works hard with personal trainer Tracy Anderson to maintain her physique but is careful she doesn’t look too muscular.

“We train for two hours six days a week. We do 45 minutes of dance aerobics, followed by work on muscle tone, flexibility and definition. There’s no running and no weights bigger than three pounds, because Madonna doesn’t want to bulk up.”

Although Madonna has drawn criticism for her toned arms in recent months, Tracy insists she has a “perfect” figure and looks better than American First Lady Michelle Obama.

“Madonna’s body is perfect. She has no fat, no cellulite, she is so toned, and her arms are amazing. Michelle Obama’s arms look beautiful, but I think I could get her into even better shape.”

Tracy also trains Madonna’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow and recently praised the actress’ dedication to her exercise regime: “In the past, she’d had times when she was very, very thin, but never this toned. Her definition is unreal.”

Evangelline Lilly at the 2008 Emmy AwardsIn addition to embracing her age, Evangeline Lilly eats “whatever the hell” she wants 24 hours before a big event. We ought to all follow this lady’s advice!

The Lost actress restricts her diet for a week running up to a red carpet appearance, but doesn’t see the point in panicking in the last few hours hours.

“I cut sugar and alcohol a week before an event. That trims the excess three to five pounds I like to carry to be healthy. The day before, I eat whatever the hell I want. I’m not going to put on weight in 24 hours.”

Evangeline, 30, admits that she isn’t a fan of the figure-hugging costumes she has to wear on the show, but her concerns are not listened to by the costume department.

“I hate the tight tops I wear on Lost. I’ve had little victories from time to time, when my character Kate has been allowed to wear something baggier. I’d say I’ve had a 10 to 15 per cent success rate. My new acid-wash jeans did not impress the Lost cast. Everyone was like, ‘You’re wearing acid wash?’ I tried to explain they’re in fashion, but they just didn’t get it.”

Emma Thompson credits “rain” with her youthful appearance. The ‘Last Chance Harvey’ actress - who turned 50 last May - says she finds the wet weather in Scotland has unexpected benefits for her skin. When asked her secret to looking young, Emma said:  “I think Scotland’s got a lot to do with it, I spend a lot of time up there and it rains a lot, which is good for the complexion.”

The British star also insists on finding the time to exercise wherever she is, regardless of the facilities. She explained: “I make sure I take regular exercise, I do anything I can lay my hands on, if I can’t go to a gym like last weekend, I just put on my iPod and my trainers and trot around in the garden, whatever I’ve got time for I’ll do.” However, Emma admits it takes work and discipline to stay in shape and would love to be able to have no restrictions on her diet. She added: “If I had a super power I’d like to be able to eat and eat whatever I wanted without getting fat.”
