When I think of L'Oreal, I imagine celebrities such Beyonce, Eva Longoria (Parker) and Penelope Cruz fronting the brand -- but Gerard Butler?
In his latest role, the hunky movie star puts his good looks to use in new ads for the cosmetics company.
I don't really care know what he's selling here -- Hydra Energetic Anti-Fatigue Moisturizer?? -- but I like what I'm seeing.

Earlier this year, we got to hear Taylor Momsen (sort) of fronting a perfume commercial for John Galliano. Now, we actually get to see her in the ad.
Although we found it strange that she didn’t really appear in the first version, we’re kind of torn now. After watching both videos, let us know what you think. Do you like the Parlez-Moi d'Amour spot better when you’re focusing on her singing – or on her raccoon eyes?

VIDEO: Martin Scorcese Directs Chanel Ad

You know that a fashion house has staying power when it can enlist the directorial skills of an Oscar winner like Martin Scorcese. Such was the case with Chanel, who hired Scorcese to direct a commercial for its men’s fragrance, Bleu de Chanel.
While the French actor Gaspard Ulliel captivates most of my attention, I can’t help but compare it to David Lynch’s gig for Dior. With Lynch, at least you still saw his signature touch in the video. Scorcese’s, while much shorter in length, looked more like the typical run-of-the-mill fragrance spot. Even Frank Miller made an interesting take on Gucci’s perfume!

If Evan Rachel Wood fails to reunite with Marilyn Manson (again), maybe she should strike something up with actor Chris Evans.
I mean, Chris is going to be the next Captain America. (That’s hot, right?) And from what I can tell, they definitely have a bit a chemistry going on this new Gucci Guilty commercial. But maybe I should wait until I see the full video airs on September 12 before I really decide.
(BTW - if the spot looks a bit Sin City-esque to you, there’s a reason. It was directed by Frank Miller.)

Katy Perry Gets Paid Millions to Fight Acne

Finally, something to get those Jessica Simpson commercials out of our heads—Katy Perry is to be the new face of an acne medication.
The “I Kissed A Girl” singer will promote the anti-spot cream Proactiv Solution alongside Canadian singer Avril Lavigne and The Office‘s Jenna Fischer. Adverts filmed by the stars will begin airing in the US next month before a worldwide release. Ben Van de Bunt, the company’s executive, said all of the representatives would be paid a significant amount of money.

VIDEO: Michael Bay Helms Victoria’s Secret Spot

I’ve just seen Megan Fox‘s future—and it involves far less than tank tops and shorts.
In this new spot for Victoria’s Secret, Transformers director Michael Bay asked a bevy of beauties to do far more “insane things” than he’s probably ever asked Fox to do. Play pool while kneeling on the table? (Ouch! Rug burns!) Walk through the desert while wearing black and heels? Stand in front of an explosion with very little protective clothing?
If Megan doesn’t start appreciating her boss soon, I’m sure there are plenty of other women who could easily do her job.

In this video for FunnyorDie.com, we get a “behind-the-scenes” look at James Franco‘s work on a Gucci commercial. Although the 31-year-old easily mastered the look, the Columbia University grad student had a bit of difficulty with the language.
