Considering her attitude towards the Hollywood norm, it may not be hard to believe that Amanda Seyfried doesn’t own a hairdryer.
The Letters to Juliet actress is often voted as one of the world’s most stylish women, but admits she’s very low-maintenance and rarely spends time on her appearance. The blonde beauty said, “I don’t even have a blow dryer because I don’t dry my hair. I probably flat iron my hair once every six months.”
The 24-year-old star has only just recently discovered the benefits of wearing make-up in her everyday life, saying, “I just started wearing blusher and realize how much more alive I look with it on.”
As well as being a new-found cosmetic fan, Amanda - who is dating her Mamma Mia! co-star Dominic Cooper - loves to show off her lovely legs by donning a pair of high heels. She told InStyle Hair magazine, “I wear heels, my legs are long and they’re the one part of my body I really like. Though I never wear heels on the weekend.”

Zoe Saldana Has Rough Clothes

Zoe Saldana has a “harsh” and “aggressive” wardrobe.
The Avatar actress admits to being a bit of a tomboy and her clothing choices veers toward that side of her. She told Self, “I’ve never really been that feminine. Look in my closet and you’ll see things that are elegant, sexy, tomboyish, sophisticated, beautiful, aggressive. It’s harsh. It’s a lot of black. Pretty is the last word you would think of.”
Zoe - who also starred in Star Trek - said her take on fashion stood out against the bright Caribbean fashions of her native Dominican Republic: “The Caribbean is the most floral-happy culture in the world, and my sisters and I were like three little Jackie O’s with big sunglasses, reading all these sophisticated magazines and dressed in black at all times.”
Zoe does, however, occasionally wear bright colors and on a recent shoot picked out a floral dress which brought back fond memories for her:
“These florals tell a story. I was channeling that South Beach-looking-for-a-millionaire-husband-from-Switzerland kind of thing. I live in constant storytelling mode. Sometimes, I have to give myself permission to be pretty.”
Scarlett Johansson Knows That Beauty is Pain

Scarlett Johansson is willing to suffer for beauty.
The stunning actress - who is the face of Spanish fashion label Mango - knows looking good can take hard work but says it’s worth it in the end.
“When I was little my mum always said, ‘Pain for beauty.’ That made me realize that, although the process of getting ready for an event is tedious, in the end it’s worth investing the time to have the look you’re happiest with.”
The 25-year-old beauty - famed for her old-school glamour look - also says it’s important to dress in outfits that you feel comfortable in, not whether they’re in fashion or not: “I think the most important thing is to look comfortable in yourself and in your own skin, whether you’re wearing something crazy, high fashion or casual. As long as you own the look, that’s the most important thing.”
While she loves clothes, Scarlett admits to being a shoe addict. She said, “I love shoes. I don’t wear heels a lot, but I love them, and have a ton of them. Shoes are so beautiful - I love the way they are made and the way they make you feel.”
Old Blonde Emma Thompson

Actress Emma Thompson was stunned when her daughter told her she was too old to have blonde hair. The Nanny McPhee actress recently dyed her tresses from brunette and while she likes them, 10-year-old Gaia wasn’t impressed.
The 50-year-old star - who is married to actor Greg Wise - said, “She says, ‘It’s got to go,’ and I say, ‘Look Gaia, I am only 50, I will get rid of it when I’m a bit older,’ and she says, ‘You are too old for blonde hair, mum.’”
However, Emma is adamant the blonde tresses will stay but admits there will come a point when she can no longer carry off the look: “When I am about 60 I will just shave my hair off and go salt and pepper. You can’t have blonde hair at the age of 60.”
The Love Actually star has previously admitted she likes getting older because she feels more relaxed about her career. “I feel that my age and station give me a certain amount of leg room. I’m not cramped by fear of failure or I think it would be good to fail. I’ve done it spectacularly from time to time. I think it’s a help getting older because you worry so much less about that.”
Megan Fox Likes to Blend In

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, Health & Beauty,
While she may attend red carpet events in major leg-exposing dresses, Megan Fox hates wearing attention-seeking clothes when she’s a normal girl on the street.
The Transformers beauty - who is regarded as one of the world’s sexiest women - says that she can’t don “interesting” outfits when she goes out because she doesn’t want people to recognize her.
“If you wear anything interesting, you become instantly noticeable. I have this gorgeous Dolce and Gabbana white trench coat for winter, but I can’t wear it without drawing attention to myself. And I try to hide. I want to be unseen.”
Although she is a huge fan of singer Rihanna‘s flamboyant look, Megan, 23, says she’s could never go out dressed like that: “It would be nice to be like Rihanna and go to Burger King in six-inch heels and a mini-dress. It’s admirable. But I don’t have the motivation. I have lots of casual clothes and one side of my wardrobe is oddly grown up: pencil skirts and Prada turtlenecks for when, once in a while, I feel like going in that direction.”
Anne Hathaway is One of Hollywood’s Largest

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Fashion Designers, News,
Oscar-nominated actress Anne Hathaway thinks she’s one of Hollywood’s “larger” actresses.
The 27-year-old beauty loves getting dressed up for glamorous award shows and red carpet events but has to warn fashion designers she won’t be able to squeeze into their size zero dresses before a fitting.
“If designers want to dress me then I am at the larger end of the Hollywood scale so they have to be fine with that. And I think what some designers do is if a dress doesn’t fit you because it’s been fitted to a size zero model they will remake the dress for you.”
Anne - who is slim US size four to six - has always been happy with her body and is determined not to give into the pressures of Hollywood to lose weight and look “perfect.”
“I gave up my struggle with perfection a long time ago. That’s a concept I don’t find very interesting anymore. Everyone just wants to look good in the photographs. I think that’s where some of the pressure comes from. Be happy. Be yourself, the day is about a lot more.”
Catwalks May Lose Lily Cole to the Big Screen

Lily Cole is fed up of modeling.
The 21-year-old beauty wants to veer away from the fashion and beauty industry and instead plans to spend the rest of her working days focusing on her acting career.
“I’d like to act and not really model so much. I wouldn’t want to treat acting as a convenient thing to do now and again. I’ve been doing modeling for years and I feel like I’ve taken out of it what I need to and I’m ready for new things.”

Nerdy Eva Green

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrities, Health & Beauty, News, Rumors,
Despite having been a coveted James Bond girl, Eva Green claims she looks like a “nerd.”
The stunning actress says she doesn’t care what people think of her style and dresses in a way she feels comfortable with, especially when she’s not on the red carpet.
“I just want to have a bit of fun and do something unusual. Also, sometimes I make mistakes because you don’t have time to prepare. People give too much importance to it - it’s ridiculous. I don’t do this costume thing in real life. I dress really simple. I look like a nerd! I have my hat and glasses. I’m very short-sighted, so I wear them on the street and nobody recognizes me. I’m really invisible.”
Eva also admits she hates smiling because she’s very shy. The French beauty told Britain’s Stylist magazine, “I’m not very sociable. I’m not very good at smiling and being blah-blah-blah all the time. If I go to a party, I feel self-conscious and stupidly shy. So I don’t talk or laugh.”
Audrey Tautou has high praise for Coco Chanel

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Fashion Designers, News, Women,
Audrey Tautou is of the opinion that Coco Chanel gave women freedom. Tautou, the French actress who plays the legendary designer in new film Coco Avant Chanel, says the designer was a huge inspiration because she broke down barriers that had held back women before her. “She was the woman of the moment. She was very intelligent, strong and courageous. She wanted to be free and independent. At the time, nobody knew that could exist. She refused to let herself be closed off by social conventions and she was almost a rebel - she was almost a feminist ahead of time. In terms of fashion, she freed women.”
Audrey is also a huge fan of Chanel clothes because they are so elegant. “Chanel’s style is the style of simplicity. It’s very feminine and is the symbol of French elegance.”
Coco, who died in 1971 at the age of 87, was one of the most important figures in 20th century fashion. Her menswear-inspired designs, which were renowned for their expensive simplicity, are some of the most sought after clothes in the world.
