Well, you have got to give the girl an A for effort. Rumer Willis, spawn of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis-turned-actress, is definitely paving her own path to stardom. What better way to do so than scoring an ad campaign for one of today's hottest labels?

Willis, 22, fronts Badgley Mischka's Spring/Summer 2011 campaign sporting three looks against a beachy paradise background.

While she undoubtedly looks much better in these photos than usual, the decision in choosing her to model the high-end gowns is rather off-putting. With dozens of other more talented and capable models in the industry (or even celebrities, for that matter!), it comes off slightly pathetic, knowing that the gig was awarded because of her parentage.

Am I being a little harsh? Perhaps. But when you compare her ads to the likes of all the other campaigns that have been released lately, her presence in the photos brings down the quality of the campaign.

The woman is definitely no Georgia May Jagger.
