Steven Spielberg felt "like a little kid" when he met Lindsay Lohan for the first time on Saturday night.
The director was very excited to speak to the actress when he stopped off at her table during the 98th Annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner in Washington D.C. After being introduced to the actress, he said, "I feel like a kid, because I'm so excited to meet you."
Lindsay enjoyed chatting to Diane Keaton at the dinner - which was also attended by Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner, Elle MacPherson, Josh Hutcherson, Mary J. Blige, Goldie Hawn and Eva Longoria - and George Clooney also said hi to the blonde star.
The 25-year-old beauty - who is infamous for her legal and drug problems - attended the event with Fox News anchor Greta Van Susteren, who revealed Lindsay is "passionate" about her acting career.

Ouch. This was not the way for Jay Leno to lead into Conan O’Brien’s 60 Minutes interview tonight.
NBC’s current Tonight Show host may have been headlining comedian at last night’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, but it was President Barack Obama who stole the show. Although the POTUS helped get the nearly 3000 attendees warmed up with a list of funny jokes (including zingers directed at Leno himself), Jay fumbled the lead once he arrived at the podium.

From the word go, comedy has been a huge factor for the election season. From the astonishing 20-plus contenders to the hysterical primary debates, it’s been one heck of a ride to the White House - and it still isn’t over. Sarah Palin shocked the world by jumping from unknown politician to media darling, but through the last few weeks the American public has had something solid to look forward to: Tina Fey spoofing her.
The two SNL skits featuring Fey as Palin have already reached legendary proportions, re-played by competing broadcasters and posted all over the Internet so that all might enjoy. “That lady is a media star,” Fey said recently of Palin in an interview with TV Guide. “She is a fascinating person, she’s very likeable. She’s fun to play.” And hilarious to watch.
