Tina Fey Welcomes Second Daughter
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Television, Celebrity Babies, Pregnancies,
Tina Fey has become a mother for a second time. The 30 Rock actress - who already has a five-year-old daughter, Alice, with composer husband Jeffrey Richmond - gave birth to a baby girl on Wednesday, her representative confirmed to People.
The couple have called their new daughter Penelope Athena. Before she announced her pregnancy, Tina revealed she felt guilty about Alice not having a brother or sister. Writing in her memoir Bossypants, she said, "I thought that raising an only child would be the norm in Manhattan, but my daughter is the only child in her class without a sibling. Most kids have at least two. Who will be my daughter's family when my husband and I are dead from stress-induced cankers? She must have a sibling."
And while she loves being a mother, Tina has previously spoken of the difficulties of juggling raising a child with the demands of her career. "I never really believed it before, but when you have a child, there really aren't enough hours in the day to do anything. Basically, any free time that isn't spent looking after our daughter or working goes on sleeping."

VIDEO: Tina Fey on Being a 24-Year-Old Virgin
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Television, Videos,
I’m not sure what is more awkward here—- Tina Fey having to explain why it took her so long to have sex, or the fact that she was talking about sex…with David Letterman.
During last night’s Late Show broadcast, the 30 Rock star was presented an article written in Us Weekly about celebrities who lost their virginity at a later age. Unlike Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima (who waited until she was 27), the Emmy winner said her situation was not a choice. “Couldn’t give it away…couldn’t give it away,” Fey laughed.
Tina eventually married and had a child with the man - composer Jeff Richmond - who she first became intimate with. “That’s just good, Christian values,” Fey added. “Or bein’ homely.”

Sarah Palin Airs Her Opinions About Katie Couric and Tina Fey
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Television, Videos,
Even though she walked away as one of the biggest names of 2008, Sarah Palin isn’t exactly pleased with those who became famous along with her. In an interview for a documentary called Media Malpractice, the Alaska governor said she found it interesting how others benefitted from her campaign run.
“I did see that Tina Fey was named entertainer of the year and Katie Couric’s ratings have risen. I know that a lot of people are capitalizing on, oh I don’t know, perhaps some exploiting that was done via me, my family, my administration — that’s a little bit perplexing, but it also says a great deal about our society.”

Story Behind Tina Fey’s Scar Explained
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Television,

Although it seems like we’ve seen Tina Fey just about everywhere this year, there’s still a lot about the comedienne we don’t know. And for the first time, we’re finally learning more about one of the 30 Rock actress’ secrets.
In the January issue of Vanity Fair, Fey’s husband, Jeff Richmond, reveals the story behind the 38-year-old’s noticeable, yet subtle, scar. The facial imperfection was a result of a stranger slashing a then 5-year-old child. “It was in, like, the front yard of her house, and somebody who just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen,” Richmond said.

Celebrities Threatening to Defect
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Television, Rivalries, Editorials,

Not that long ago, comedienne Tina Fey (who is now for ever linked to her classic and spot-on Sarah Palin impersonation) said she would leave Earth if the McCain administration takes over. She’s not the only celeb who’s threatened to turn their back on the U.S. if the war hero and hockey mom make it into the White House - though her words were perhaps a little stronger than most.
Susan Sarandon, Michael Stipe (REM) and Stephen Baldwin have all made similar statements. Now, recording artist Seal and model Heidi Klum are clamoring that they, too, can’t imagine living in an America where John McCain might rule.

The Bright Light of Palin’s Appointment: Tina Fey
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Television, Editorials,

From the word go, comedy has been a huge factor for the election season. From the astonishing 20-plus contenders to the hysterical primary debates, it’s been one heck of a ride to the White House - and it still isn’t over. Sarah Palin shocked the world by jumping from unknown politician to media darling, but through the last few weeks the American public has had something solid to look forward to: Tina Fey spoofing her.
The two SNL skits featuring Fey as Palin have already reached legendary proportions, re-played by competing broadcasters and posted all over the Internet so that all might enjoy. “That lady is a media star,” Fey said recently of Palin in an interview with TV Guide. “She is a fascinating person, she’s very likeable. She’s fun to play.” And hilarious to watch.
