Steven Tyler Attacks Celebrity Rehab, Dr. Drew

Steven Tyler is holding practically nothing back in his book Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?, sharing his opinions on reality TV, among many subjects. While recounting one of his stints in rehab, Tyler alleges that he observed some of the making of Celebrity Rehab, and the picture he paints is unflattering… to say the least.
Tyler claims that Steven Adler, a patient at Las Encinas (where Rehab is filmed) and former Guns N Roses member, was asked to fake his behavior for the benefit of the cameras. “They wanted him to act out his own messed-up state when he entered rehab. It was ghoulish and unreal,” Tyler writes. “They gave him 30 grand for the episode, he snorted it all, crashed his car, and he ended up in jail detox.”

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Television, Rivalries, Rumors,

Steven Tyler has finally gone public with the news that everyone already knew: he’s one of the new American Idol judges.
During the follow-up press conference to the announcement, the singer said that his Aerosmith band members are “jealous” of his new gig.
Tyler then quickly backpedaled on the comment. “I’m sure they’re real happy for me,” he added. Yeah - just green with envy.

Steven Tyler Changes Rehab Story
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Drugs,
Realizing people weren’t buying his ‘my feet really hurt’ story, Steven Tyler has chosen to give honesty a try.
Back in May, the Aerosmith singer tried convincing the media that he was away seeking recuperation, not rehabilitation. Tyler said he was simply wanted time alone to recover from some surgeries. “I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet.”
Now the musician - who has battled addiction before - admits he was receiving help for much more. Steven told the Associated Press that his treatment was for the what came after his procedures. “To have your feet done, to have your leg done, you have to be on narcotics. You have to be on sleep aids at night. I don’t know about Joe [Perry, an Aerosmith bandmate], but I was off and running and I didn’t like the me that was me.”
See, Steven? Now was that so hard?

Steven Tyler Sought Help for Feet, Not Drugs
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Rumors,
Does anyone actually think we believe this stuff?
First, Kirsten Dunst tried convincing us her rehab stint was solely about depression. (Word has it - Cirque doesn’t even offer treatment for that.) Now Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler would like us to think he’s seeking help for bad feet. Seriously.
While his reps did manage to confirm their client was away recovering, they blame his on-stage - not off-stage - antics for the excursion. Supposedly years of athletic movements have done a bit of damage to the 60-year-old rocker’s soles. After a series of painful surgeries, the musician for some reason then chose to rest in a rehab facility. Via a statement, Steven said, “I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet.”
So is his home not a ‘safe’ place? Is he unable to turn off his ringer anywhere else? Was there not a groupie willing to help him?

Rocker Steven Tyler Enters Rehab
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Drugs,
Just a few weeks ago, we reported that Liv Tyler and husband Royston Langdon were filing for divorce. Now we’re hearing about more personal troubles for the Tyler family.
According to Us Magazine, musician Steven Tyler has checked into the Las Encinas Hospital drug rehabilitation clinic. (This is the same location Dr. Drew Pinsky works at.) As the long-time frontman for Aerosmith, this would not be the 60-year-old’s first stint in rehab. Reports are the singer is currently seeking help for another substance abuse problem.
Back in Sept 2006, Tyler also revealed that he been going through treatment for Hepatitis C, a condition that he had had for several years. This medical issue was happening around the time he and his wife, Teresa, were divorcing after 17 years of marriage.
