Steven Tyler has finally gone public with the news that everyone already knew: he’s one of the new American Idol judges.

During the follow-up press conference to the announcement, the singer said that his band members are “jealous” of his new gig.

Tyler then quickly backpedaled on the comment. “I’m sure they’re real happy for me,” he added. Yeah - just green with envy.
