Ben Stiller Recalls Stalker Incident

Ben Stiller once had a female stalker.
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty actor was left terrified by a bizarre encounter with an over-zealous fan who pretended to be a journalist in order to get closer to her Hollywood idol:
"I once had a strange, stalker-type woman. This was about 10 years ago. She showed up in our production office wanting to say hi, and I thought that was that. But then she showed up again, two weeks later, at a press conference, and she'd somehow got hold of a press badge. It was crazy. I felt like I was in Basic Instinct. She ended up not killing me though, so that's good."
Ben is a secret sci-fi nerd and is obsessed with cult show Star Trek, admitting one of his most prized possessions is headpiece with Spock's pointy Vulcan ears. When asked who is the most difficult person to buy Christmas presents for is, Ben joked, "Probably me. I like silly things, such as Star Trek memorabilia. For my birthday this year, my wife got me a fan guide from a 1975 Star Trek convention. That's exciting to me. I have Spock's ears at home too. I do not wear them around the house, because that would break down the foam latex. They're too delicate and precious to actually be worn."

Where Are They Now?: Wil Wheaton
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Movies, Television, Child Stars, Videos, Where Are They Now?,
We remember him best as Wesley Crusher, the only teenager to become a series regular on a Star Trek series (The Next Generation, in this particular case). He was the precocious young son, the ambitious ensign and the Starfleet student - and then, he was gone.
After making standout appearances as a child actor in films like Stand By Me and Toy Soldiers, Wil Wheaton disappeared from the radar…but he’s still an active part of the geek community. Though Wheaton has not been in a feature film since 2007 (Americanizing Shelley), he has made appearances on Leverage, The Big Bang Theory and Eureka.

William Shatner Still Talking About George Takei
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Movies, Television, Rivalries, Videos,
Here we go again…
Just a few weeks ago, Star Trek‘s William Shatner hit YouTube to explain why George Takei kept him out of his September nuptials. His theory? Sulu has some sort of “psychosis.” Shortly thereafter, Takei spoke to Entertainment Tonight and denied the snub. He did invite his co-worker after all; William simply didn’t bother to RSVP.
Well - Bill, being Bill, just couldn’t let someone else have the last word…hence the new video he recently posted. In it, Captain Kirk once again claims that Takei is “out of touch of reality” but then also questions why George is “so mean” to him.
If he’s really sooo delusional, William, why do you care what he thinks about you?
Wiliam Shatner Lashes Out at George Takei

UPDATE: Takei told Entertainment Tonight that an invitation was sent to Shatner after all. William just didn’t bother to RSVP.
It should make J.J. Abrams feel better to know that he isn’t the only one hated by William Shatner.
Since he hasn’t been assigned to any film shoots, the Boston Legal star has apparently found himself with a lot of spare time. Last month, Shatner - with the help of his daughter - hit YouTube to talk about being snubbed by the Star Trek director. Now he’s hitting the internet to talk about being snubbed by a former co-star.
When actor George Takei (Sulu) married his partner Brad Altman back in September, several members of the Star Trek family were included in the event. Unfortunately, Shatner was not one of them. In an interview with AP Radio, George said his memories of the show’s lead star weren’t always pleasant.

Four weeks after Ellen Degeneres wed girlfriend Portia de Rossi, actor George Takei got his turn. On Sunday, the 71-year-old Star Trek legend wed his partner of 21 years in Los Angeles. The Buddhist ceremony came three months after Takei and Brad Altman, 54, lined up to obtain their marriage license.
Approximately 200 people were present for the nuptials, which was held at the Japanese American National Museum. Former Trek co-star Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) served as the Best Lady while Walter Koenig (Chekov) played the role of Best Man.
