SNL’s Vanessa Bayer was a natural choice for Saturday’s episode, hosted by a loose, daring Jeff Bridges (maybe the Tron sequel box office predictions were a little kinder, back then).
Bayer is best-known for her “Miley Cyrus Show” sketch, which naturally stars Vanessa as the pop princess. Punctuating her thoughts with “it’s pretty cool,” “Miley” talked about the current salvia scandal that’s been recently splashed all over TMZ.
Saturday Night Live castmate Jason Sudeikis appeared as Miley’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus; host Jeff Bridges satirized Nick Nolte (complete with mug shot).

Miley Cyrus and the Cover-Up That Didn’t Work

Weeks before the video of Miley Cyrus smoking out of a bong was leaked onto the Internet, Miley’s people attempted to cover up the incident.
TMZ is reporting that the Cyrus camp tried to do damage control by swapping out MacBooks among college kids who were present at the time.
An unknown man, assumed to be working for Miley Cyrus, visited San Luis Obispo to exchange computers with at least two separate students, but clearly the Cyrus rep didn’t manage to snatch up all the copies of the video. (These things have a way of getting around.)

Britney Spears Fires Back Against Tabloids

Star magazine and Radar Online are sticking behind their story that Britney Spears called ex-husband Jason Alexander to complain about current flame Jason Trawick -- and Brit sent them a very public message on Thursday.
Her Twitter page offered up this little gem: “PS--Star Magazine, Radar Online, Jason Alexander and the rest of you liars, Ya'll can kiss my lily white southern Louisiana ass!" (First things first: we want the Twitter page checked for accuracy. No southerner should ever spell y'all incorrectly.)

Tiger Woods Jokester Grounded By FBI

A mocking banner reading “Tiger: Are You My Daddy?” did a quick fly-by over last weekend’s US Open, a jab at the golfer which seems to reference the paternity suit filed against Tiger Woods earlier this month. The pilot was supposed to make a second pass of the golf course, but he says he was stopped…by the FBI.
A second sign reading “Happy Father’s Day Tiger LOL” was supposed to fly, but the tower made contact with the pilot with a message from the G-men. The pilot says he was “strongly urged” to “depart the area” ASAP - which he did immediately.

Rudy Giuliani Talks Tiger

“Hang in there.” These pearls of wisdom come from former New York mayor and presidential contender Rudolph Giuliani, who once suffered a public scandal of his own involving different mistresses, to golf superstar Tiger Woods.
“He’s going through a tough period,” Giuliani observed, saying he knew Tiger “at an early stage in my son’s career; he was very kind and nice to him.” Guiliani’s son Andrew recently enjoyed a stint on Golf Channel’s Big Break Disney Golf, a reality series wherein golfers compete to win a chance to join a PGA tour event. Andrew Guiliani was eliminated from the series at the end of Week 8.
“I know what a nice man Tiger really is, particularly with children,” said Rudy Guiliani. “My son played golf with him.”

Tiger Woods Scandal: Death Threats, Missing Rings and More

TMZ is reporting that Rachel Uchitel, Mistress Number 1 in the Tiger Woods scandal, has been receiving death threats. Her old cell phone number was made public via a 2001 photo; this old number points callers to the new digits. Now, Uchitel is receiving messages wherein callers threaten to go to New York for the express purpose of doing her bodily harm.
Getting fifteen minutes of fame isn’t always fun, people. Uchitel’s Facebook page was so filled with negative comments and threats, it has been shut down.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Tiger Woods, Elin Nordegren, was recently spotted in Florida without her wedding ring. Nordegren pumped her own gas and smiled as cameras caught her picture.
The Department of Children and Family Services in Florida recently paid a visit to the Woods home. The sheriff’s department was also called in during this visit, however “The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is not at liberty to discuss the reason for the visit,” according to one spokesperson.

Tony Curtis Claims Marilyn Monroe Miscarried His Child

While we uncover secrets in the wake of one icon’s shocking death, we are still uncovering mysteries regarding another icon, who passed away over 40 years ago. In a shocking revelation from his latest memoir (not so shocking), veteran actor Tony Curtis claims that not only did he have an affair with iconic actress Marilyn Monroe, but she miscarried his child.
Curtis asserts that the affair occurred when he was married to Psycho actress Janet Leigh and Monroe was wed to playwright Arthur Miller. Starting in 1950, he says that the couple were on and off, rekindling on the set of Some Like It Hot in 1958.
“When I was in bed with Marilyn I was never sure—before, during or after—where her mind was. She was an actress. She could play a part. She could give the part what she thought a man wanted. I never asked for more,” he writes.
According to him, the miscarriage took place shortly after Monroe’s husband, Miller, found out about the romance.
Tony’s memoir, The Making of Some Like It Hot, is due in stores this October.

Why do bad things happen to good people? This has been quite the year for Big Love writer Dustin Lance Black—one moment he’s being honored in Los Angeles by gay youth-mentoring group LifeWorks, and the next moment his private photos are blasted all over the internet.
The writer, whose Milk script nabbed him the 2009 Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, has been a supporter of the LGBT movement and advocate of safe sex. Intimate photos of Black and an ex-boyfriend engaging in what appears to be risky sex were leaked to photo agency Starzlife the other day.

SATC Scandal: Charlotte, Say It Isn’t So

A single photo, a brief article, and suddenly the SATC has hit the fan. One journalist is reporting that a pornographic tape of Sexy star Kristin Davis (who plays Charlotte in the Sex and the City franchise) not only exists, but is currently being shopped around for a buyer. With enough money, anyone can own the tape which will soon (purportedly) be making the rounds on the Internet. If such a tape exists.
Here are the facts of the story, things I’ve seen with my own eyes: One, the article talking about the tape does exist. Two, there is a photograph of a woman who looks exceedingly like Davis in a sexually explicit pose with an unknown gentleman. Three, Kristin Davis denies everything. One of her reps had this to say: “This is not a photo of Kristin Davis. There is no sex tape.”
This is not impossible to believe, and I’ll tell you why. There are people in the world who look like other people - whether through accident or design. In fact, there’s an entire reality TV show based on the concept of “ordinary” people who just happen to look like celebs. But, I will also say this - I’ve personally seen the photo, and it looks like her. A lot. For what it’s worth.
