Chris BrownChris Brown has been sentenced to 131 days in prison.

The 24-year-old singer has been forced to spend just over four months behind bars after he admitted in a Los Angeles court yesterday that he violated his probation by getting into a fight in Washington D.C. last year.

The judge, James R. Brandlin, originally sentenced the "Loyal" hitmaker to 365 days in custody, but gave him credit for the 234 days he has already spent in rehab and jail. However, it is unclear how long he will actually serve as he could get out earlier due to over-crowding in the prison.

The judge also ordered Chris, who has recently been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, to attend therapy sessions with a shrink twice a week and undergo random drug testing three times a week, according to TMZ.com.

Ariel Winter Guardianship Case Resolved

Ariel WinterAriel Winter's guardianship case has been resolved.

The Modern Family actress - who plays Alex Dunphy in the series - will remain in the care of her older sister Shanelle Grey, who took on temporary custody of the 16-year-old star in 2012 after she claimed her mother, Chrisoula Workman, was physically and mentally abusing her.

At a hearing yesterday, Chrisoula agreed Ariel could continue living with her sister - if she watched a video montage of family photographs in court. The young actress and other members of her family - including Chrisoula and Shanelle - sobbed as the video played, and then Superior Court Judge Daniel Murphy signed off on the custody agreement.

The judge advised it would be up to Ariel to decide if and when she would visit her mother, but he would keep jurisdiction over her care until she turns 18, and her father Glenn workman will remain in control of her finances.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Can Sue Over Engagement Footage

Kim Kardashian and Kanye WestKim Kardashian and Kanye West's lawsuit over their leaked engagement footage can go ahead, a judge has ruled.

The couple were taking legal action against YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley for posting a 150-second video of the rapper's lavish proposal at San Francisco's AT&T Park stadium, but the tech entrepreneur had sought for the case to be dismissed on constitutional grounds, claiming it violated his rights to free speech. He also argued he wasn't informed he wasn't allowed to film or distribute the footage but a judge ruled yesterday that the word "CONFIDENTIALITY" could be seen clearly on a document he signed when entering the stadium.

And Chad could also face fraud charges, website TMZ reports, as the judge agreed with Kim and Kanye's view that his "wrangling" over the case has been "improper."

John Travolta Awarded Legal Fees

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Legal Issues,

John TravoltaThe author who sued John Travolta for ruining his reputation has been ordered to pay the actor's legal bill.

Robert Randolph wrote You'll Never Spa In This Town Again, in which he claimed the Pulp Fiction actor enjoyed gay sexual relations in Los Angeles' City Spa in the 1990s. He then claimed John and his lawyer Marty Singer had falsely accused him of having serious mental problems to try and make him out to be an unreliable source.

However, after a judge threw out his lawsuit, there was further bad news for the author when he was ordered to pay John's legal fees of $139,645.17. "This legal fee award is another complete and total victory for Mr. Travolta. Anyone else who files a ridiculous lawsuit against him should expect a similar outcome," Mr. Singer told TMZ.

John has been dogged by a number of claims of sexual misconduct, some of which have since been retracted, from a number of male masseurs since the publication of You'll Never Spa In This Town Again.
