Pippa Middleton is reportedly engaged.
The party planner - who is the sister of Britain's Duchess Catherine, the wife of Prince William - was surprised by a "romantic and grand" proposal from boyfriend Nico Jackson during their vacation to the luxury Oberi Amarvilas resort in India earlier this month.
"It was exactly how he planned it. Very romantic and grand," a source said.
The couple - who have been dating for 15 months - have been celebrating their good news in private and are looking forward to a family Christmas before heading off on another trip, skiing in the Alps.
It was previously claimed that Pippa, 30, and Nico, 36, plan to marry in Scotland. "A wedding in London would never compare to her sister Kate's of course, and the prospect of erecting a marquee at her parents' house in Bucklebury for a party after the wedding service would be too low-key for her tastes these days," an insider said.

Lady Gaga is asking Pippa Middleton for tips on how to act like a royal. The pop singer reportedly wants the socialite - sister to the Duchess of Cambridge, who is married to Britain's Prince William - how to conduct herself with more grace, after reading her new book on party planning, Celebrate.
"Gaga is obsessed with the royal family and especially with Pippa. She was so desperate to get her hands on Pippa's Celebrate book she had aides ship it to her via courier to Puerto Rico where she was performing earlier this week. She hopes it will help her throw better parties and teach her how to be more like a member of the royal family," a source told The Daily Star.

Pippa Middleton Eyes Career as a Wedding Planner

The younger sister of Britain's Duchess of Cambridge recently quit her job at party planning company TableTale and is considering whether or not to move into planning weddings full time after helping out at last year's royal wedding reception.
"Pippa helped her sister and Prince William plan their evening wedding reception at Clarence House - arranging for Kate's preferred scented candles and bowls of Haribo sweets on the tables. Pippa helped with the Royal Wedding, and weddings don't get much bigger than that. She is keen to move into party planning for society wedding receptions - it would be perfect for her. She would go down a storm in America, where they are obsessed with royalty and they have a stronger wedding planner industry," a source told the Mail.
Pippa, also recently arranged the catering at the wedding of her friends Camilla Hook and Sam Holland and pals have urged her to do it full time.

Pippa Middleton Not Considered Wife Material
Pippa Middleton was not regarded as "wife material" by Alex Loudon's family.
According to a friend of the younger sister of Britain's Duchess of Cambridge, the former cricketer's mother and father, James and Jane, didn't see the pair's relationship - which recently ended after 18 months together - lasting "long-term."
"Alex's parents were welcoming but they were always somewhat lukewarm about the relationship. They didn't see Pippa as 'wife material.' James and his wife Jane both come from very good families. Pippa is very sweet but she is socially ambitious - all her friends are so 'trophy posh' it's ridiculous. They didn't honestly see Alex and Pippa's relationship as a long-term thing. James and Jane are very old-fashioned and prefer to keep things low-key," a friend said.

White Carpet: Designers Revealed for Royal Bridal Party, Harry’s Girlfriend

We know that the men at the royal wedding have been asked to wear military uniforms, and now we’ve finally got some details on what the women will wear. People is reporting that the bridal party gowns, including Pippa Middleton's maid of honor gown, have been designed by Nicki Macfarlane, a British designer who specializes in wedding fashions.
Prince Harry’s girlfriend Chelsy Davy is being dressed by Alberta Ferretti. Her day gown will be aquamarine, and for the Buckingham reception she’ll don a blue satin crepe frock in a one-shoulder design.

E! has set up a photo gallery to introduce you to all members of the royal wedding party, so you’ll know who you’re looking at when the big even takes place on April 29.
You’ll definitely recognize Best Man Prince Harry, 26, the second son born to Charles and Diana, the Prince and Princess of Wales. Pippa (Philippa) Middleton, 27, Kate’s younger sister, will serve as Maid of Honor.
Other bridal party members include Lady Louise Windsor, 7, who will serve as a Bridesmaid. She is Prince William’s first cousin, the daughter of Prince Edward (brother to Prince Charles, the next King of England), and the ninth person in line to the throne of England. Eliza Lopes, 3, granddaughter to Camilla Parker Bowles (Duchess of Cornwall and second wife of Prince Charles) will also serve as a Bridesmaid.
