Suri Advises Tom Cruise

Who needs a professional advisor when you have Suri? Tom Cruise discusses his career plans with his four-year-old daughter.
The actor, who is married to Katie Holmes, describes the story contained in his scripts to Suri and then listens to her questions because he thinks it makes him a better actor.
“I’ll put Suri on a swing and tell her stories when I’m working on a script. I’ll start with the beginning of the movie and take her through the story beat by beat. Of course, I make it age-appropriate. She’s four years old. But she asks all the right questions, ‘Why does that happen?’ ‘Those are the bad guys?’ ‘You’re the good guy, right?’ It comes down to the same thing as when I was a kid. Can I create a character that will make her happy, that will make her laugh? And you know what? She makes me get better and better, because she’s always asking me to do it again.”
Tom - who also has adopted children Connor,15, and 17-year-old Isabella with ex-wife Nicole Kidman - constantly tries to be the best parent he can because of a promise he made his eldest child when she was just a baby:

Daniel Radcliffe Wants to be a Dad
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Celebrity Babies, Rumors,
Despite his young age, Daniel Radcliffe is already pining for kids!
The Harry Potter actor is determined to settle down and start a family and plans to take time away from the film industry when he does become a parent.
“I’ve got kids to have at some point. They’re going to keep me busy if I do - which I hope I do at some point. I’m not planning on it soon, but that’s one of the things I’m really looking forward to doing.”
The 20-year-old actor - who is in an on/off relationship with Laura O’Toole - is not the only Harry Potter star wondering about life after the film series finishes.
Daniel’s co-star Rupert Grint - who portrays Harry’s best friend Ron Weasley - is scared about spending the rest of his life in the real world: “It is quite scary when this all ends because we’re stepping out into the real world - it is quite a bubble I suppose, we’ve had these films to do every year and it’s become quite a routine. I’m definitely going to miss it. It’s been a great 10 years. I am quite keen to move on and see what else is out there.”

Suri Cruise Still Drinks From a Bottle
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: D-List, Movies, Celebrity Babies, Photos, Oops Photos, Paparazzi Photos, Rumors,

It looks as if parents Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise spoil their daughter Suri Cruise a little too much, allowing her to continue to drink from a bottle… despite the fact that she’s already 3 years-old. Here I thought that the heels were bad for the tot!
Snapped up by the paparazzi on the set of Katie’s new movie, The Romantics, little Suri doesn’t seem to mind drinking from the bottle; however, experts say that she should have been weaned from it years ago:
“She should have been weaned off the bottle by the time she was one year old… By the time kids are nine months old, they have the physical development and mouth coordination necessary to be able to drink out of a sippy cup or a cup with straw. That development comes pretty early,” said Dr. Jennifer Shu, a pediatrician and co-author of Food Fights.
With all of the money between the two actors, one would think that they could afford a how-to parenting book or two.

Maggie Gyllenhaal Admires Kate Winslet

Maggie Gyllenhaal looks to Kate Winslet for parenting skills.
The 31-year-old actress, who has two-year-old daughter Ramona with husband Peter Sarsgaard, is in awe of the way the Revolutionary Road actress raises her two children.
“I try to protect my personal life, and most of all my daughter. But I also recall things people I admire have said in print that have helped me. I’ve thought, ‘Oh, wow, Kate Winslet thinks that way about parenting,’ or, ‘Meryl Streep thinks that about acting.’ So I do also believe that it’s good to let a little bit out.”
Despite wanting to reveal some aspects of her private life to her fans, Maggie is not interested in hearing what people think about her. Referring to internet search engine Google, she explained, “You can’t go and Google yourself. You just can’t. It doesn’t feel good. Just step away from Google, absolutely. How can you ever choose things in your life that will please everyone? The same goes for reviews. I can do work I’m proud of, but then people don’t like it and it just ties you up in knots.”
Tom Cruise: Self-Proclaimed Great Parent
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Movies, Divorce, Celebrity Babies, Child Stars,
Tom Cruise is “fortunate to have the teenagers and two and a half-year-old” daughter he has fathered, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t like to add more to the crew in the future. In an interview with The Sun, he talks about raising a toddler and teenagers at the same time.
“She’s so beautiful, she’s just great,” Cruise says of little Suri Cruise, a favorite among the paps (she appears in more mags than her famous father). Perhaps it’s because the small tot is “so charming,” as her proud papa says.
In the interview, Tom Cruise calls himself a “great parent,” saying “my family is the most important thing in my life.”
