Russell Brand wanted kids with Katy Perry when they were married.
The pair tied the knot in October 2010 following a whirlwind romance and although Russell was ready to start a family, Katy wasn't as keen because she didn't want to sacrifice her pop career.
Katy - whose divorce from the comedian was finalized in February 2012 just a few months after Russell filed legal separation papers in December 2011 - said, "[Russell] really wanted me to have children, and I knew I wasn't ready. I think it was a way of control. I think it was part of, 'If I have a kid, then I would have to sacrifice - I'd have to be home more.' I really wanted to, but I knew I wasn't ready for it."
The "Roar" hitmaker - who is now in a committed relationship with musician John Mayer - insists she is still not ready to become a mother but when the time comes she wants to be a hands-on parent.

Carrie Underwood Not Ready for Kids

Carrie Underwood admits she is little "selfish" and isn't ready to have children. The 30-year-old country singer - who married Canadian ice-hockey star Mike Fisher in July 2010 - says she has a tough time forming new relationships and wishes she had a softer personality.
The "Blown Away" hitmaker told the June issue of Marie Claire magazine, "I don't feel old enough to have kids. I know I am mature. But being responsible for another human? I'm not a mushy person at all. We were never a huggy family. Or a 'let's talk it out' family. Technically I have siblings but they are quite a bit older than me - I was the accident - so I have the only-child syndrome going on. I'm a little more selfish, a little more independent, a little closed. I do wish I were softer. I wish I were able to form relationships better. But hey, I mean...I'm not a sociopath."
The former American Idol star, who rose to fame after winning the reality TV show in 2005, also feels very "awkward" and her husband often makes fun of her for it: "My husband calls me the queen of awkward moments. Anything that can be made awkward, I will make it awkward."

Taylor Swift will always believe in true love - even after it "explodes in a million pieces."
The 22-year-old singer - who is currently dating Conor Kennedy - happily admits that when many of her relationships have ended she has been totally devastated, but she always forget her feelings when she meets someone new.
Taylor - who has previously dated Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal - said, "[I believe in love] even after it explodes into a million pieces and burns down and you're standing in a pile of the ash of what it once was thinking, 'Why did I have to meet this person, why did this have to happen?' But then, when you make eye contact with someone across the room and it clicks and, bam, you're there. In love again."
The "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" hitmaker admits she falls in love "easily" if she meets the right person and she doesn't accept that it's a fault.

Christina Ricci’s Devastation at Eating Disorder Revelation

Christina Ricci admits having her eating disorder outed at the age of 14 was a "devastating" experience.
The Bel Ami actress - who shot to fame as a child after appearing in the Addams Family franchise - explained while it was a "horrifying" thing to have happen, it made her vow to be "completely honest" for the rest of her life so no one could ever uncover any more of her secrets.
"Somebody actually found out about it and outed me while I was recovering. It was a horrifying thing to do to a 14-year-old trying to cope with a devastating illness. 'Out of rage, I vowed that no one would ever be able to out me for a secret again. So I was going to be completely honest in the rest of my life. I don't want to be hurt in that way again," she told British Marie Claire.
The 32-year-old star admitted becoming famous at such a young age meant it took her "a while" to be comfortable with who she is:

Liv Tyler Still Figuring Love Out

Liv Tyler is "still trying to figure love out."
The 34-year-old actress - who has been dating photographer Theo Wenner for the past six months - explained she is constantly attempting to find out what the meaning of life and love are: "Am I happy in love? I'm still trying to figure love out. I'm honestly still trying to figure it all out. Life and love and my ideas of love. And what love really is. And how it works and what it all means."
The brunette beauty - who has a seven-year-old son, Milo, with ex-husband Royston Langdon - admitted she has been using her own experiences of love as a child in an attempt to understand who she is as a person. Liv added in an interview with Marie Claire, "I'm actually really trying to apply myself to understanding who I am, how I work, what I've done in the past, and my childhood, and how I am at raising a child. What I saw as a child in love, the examples I saw and how that affects who I am today in love. All of those questions."
Angelina Jolie Could Have Another Baby

Angelina Jolie has admitted she could have another child. The actress and her partner Brad Pitt already raise six kids together - Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - and although she isn't making plans to either adopt again or give birth to another baby, she admits it isn't an impossible prospect.
When asked whether she wants to expand her brood, she told Marie Claire, "Nothing planned at the moment, but we just don't know. I could end up pregnant."
The In the Land of Blood and Honey director also praised Brad and credits him with changing her outlook on life completely. The 36-year-old actress insists the 47-year-old actor is the "love" of her life and she can't imagine ever being without him: "[Brad] has expanded my life in ways I never imagined. We built a family. He is not just the love my life, he is my family. I hold that very dear. I suppose what I've learned from Brad is to be able to have the kind of family whose happiness and wellbeing comes before your own. I'm very grateful to have such a loving family, and I wouldn't have that without him."

Angelina Jolie doesn't have any "girlfriends."
The Oscar-winning actress - who raises six children, Maddox, 10, Pax, right, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with partner Brad Pitt - admitted she is "not very social," as she prefers to stay at home with her family than go out partying.
"I don't really have girlfriends in movies, if you've noticed. Well, I have a few girlfriends, I just... I stay at home a lot. I'm just not very social. I don't do a lot with them, and I'm very homebound. I'll talk to my family. I talk to Brad ... But I don't know, I don't have a lot of friends I talk to. He is really the only person I talk to," she said to Marie Claire.
While the 36-year-old beauty explained the couple have no plans to expand their brood at present, she conceded she could "end up pregnant" at any moment. Asked whether she and Brad are hoping to add to their family, Angelina said, "Nothing planned at the moment, but we just don't know. I could end up pregnant."
Demi Moore Open to Having More Kids

Demi Moore wants another baby.
The 46-year-old actress - who has three daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis - insists she is not too old to raise another child and admits it is something she has discussed with her 31-year-old husband Ashton Kutcher.
When asked about expanding her family further, Demi said: “Why not? Everything is possible! We have so much to live for, and obviously one of them is to have a child. I’m very enthusiastic about all the possibilities that living together gives us. I’m an incurable optimist and a go-getter - it’s in my nature to focus much more on what makes me happy than what makes me nervous.”
Demi - who has been married to Ashton for four years - insists the age gap between her and her spouse has never been a problem as they are able to embrace their different outlooks on life while still finding common ground.

Someone Ryders Away with Winona’s Jewels

Winona Ryder is being investigated by police after a theft resulted in the loss of jewels worth $125,000. The rocks were Winona’s…kinda.
A diamond-encrusted Bulgari bracelet and ring, on loan to the actress for her use during a Marie Claire magazine party, have mysteriously come up missing in Spain. The actress (who has been almost totally off the radar for the last several years - who the hell decided to give her jewelry?) was convicted in 2001 of shoplifting. This is in no way related to this current jewel threat, but does bear mentioning.
Police involved with the case have not commented. Reps for Ryder have likewise offered no comment - giving the press free reign to speculate wildly. Let the gossip begin.
