Victoria Beckham Confesses to Therapy Sessions

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Rants, Rumors,

Victoria Beckham on VogueVictoria Beckham has undergone therapy. The fashion designer - whose 11-year-marriage to soccer player David Beckham has been marred by unsubstantiated claims of infidelity - trusts her spouse completely but feels she needs some help turning her anger into something positive.

"Haven't most people at some time or other? I don't know if I'm balanced or deluded. I don't mean about David - him, I trust completely because we're both such talkers - but I'm quite spiritual. I'd rather turn anger into energy," she said when asked whether she has ever turned to therapy.

However, the 36-year-old star - who has sons Brooklyn,11, Romeo, eight, and five-year-old Cruz with 35-year-old David - admitted she tries not to care about what people say about her, otherwise she would have been driven to suicide "years ago."

"It's never nice when people write hurtful things and as much as I say I don't see it, I'm not stupid. But I've seen both sides of fame and I realize that it's brought me a lot of opportunities. I suppose if I really cared what people say I'd have topped myself years ago."

Justin Bieber Covers February’s Vanity Fair

Justin Bieber on Vanity Fair

Teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber has graduated from Tiger Beat! The 16 year-old singer covers February's issue of Vanity Fair, appropriately covered in a sea of lipstick kisses. If you're an adolescent girl, what's Valentine's Day without a wall-worthy Justin Bieber photo, anyway?

Judging by the magazine's choice in font sizes, Bieber sadly ranks higher in importance than the Kennedys. With that said, I'm hoping that I can't trust the headline beneath his name -- I'd rather trade him in for more Lindsay Lohan coverage.

As far as magazine sales go, here's to hoping that Bieber's bloodthirsty fans are distracted long enough to give Selena some breathing room.

Naked Kim Kardashian Covers W Magazine

Kim Kardashian on W Magazine

First was Harper’s Bazaar. Now W Magazine is cashing in on Kim Kardashian’s willingness to pose nude for their cover.

The most famous of the Kardashian sisters, Kim is making it clear in W‘s art issue that she’s proud of her curves. While the cover utilizes print to hide Kim’s privates, the NSFW inside pages contain photos of her wearing nothing but silver paint. Classy!

I can’t figure out what she craves more: the exhibitionism or the media attention.

James Franco Covers Candy Magazine in Drag

James Franco

I don’t think that James Franco was joking on Saturday Night Live when he claimed to pick his career moves based on randomly selected “idea slips.” As it were, he chose to cover Candy Magazine in drag.

Shot by fashion photographer Terry Richardson, Franco looks virtually unrecognizable in his painted lips and blue eyeshadow.

One has to wonder whether he’s truly that comfortable with his sexuality or if he’s revealing a little something about himself… (for the sake of women everywhere, I’m banking on the former).

Lady Gaga Trades Bubbles in For Gun Bra

Lady Gaga on the cover of Rolling Stone

Pop

singer

artist has come a long way since her bubbly, fresh Rolling Stone cover. To prove it, she has ditched the pink lipstick and blonde afro for assault rifles and slick bob.

Still barely clothed for her second Rolling Stones cover, Gaga displays a current habit of reusing her music video wardrobe (i.e. “Telephone” studded bra and panties at a recent Mets game), as it’s obvious these are the same guns from her Alejandro video. Economical or tiresome?

Robsten Goes Noir For Harper’s Bazaar

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on the cover of Harper's BazaarIn a sad but much needed effort to boost magazine sales, Harper’s Bazaar placed Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on their December cover.

While their pose on the cover comes off rather awkward (where is her neck? why do his fingers don’t seem to want to touch her? why does she look like Ashley Greene?), the photos coinciding with their interviews (seen after the jump) seem too natural to be an act, piling more evidence to their questionable real-life romance.

Shot by Mark Seliger, the photo shoot is very noir-inspired—the goal was to make Kristen look “vampish and sexy.” The tomboy traded in her Converses and Rock & Republic frocks for a gorgeous Alexander McQueen gown, as well as Valentino and Yves St. Laurent pieces. While anything and everything looks good on Pattinson, he wears Dior Homme (in case you wanted to note that somewhere in your homemade shrine).

I’m beginning to think that the two stay tight-lipped about their relationship just so we crave these magazine features and interviews—would we really be that interested in all of this Twilight hoopla if we weren’t trying to figure out if they were together in real life?

Disney Magazine Bans Noah Cyrus Halloween Photo

Noah Cyrus in her Elvira costume

Taking some tips from her big sister, Miley Cyrus, Noah Cyrus stirred up controversy over her Halloween costume, prompting Disney Girl to prohibit the photos’ publication.

Attending Jamie Lee Curtis’s Dream Halloween this past weekend, 9 year-old Cyrus showed up in a tight-fitting mini dress with knee-high leather boots. To top that off, dark eye makeup and red lipstick were applied to her small face.

Disney Girl‘s editor, Fiona Wright, spoke about her decision to not print the photos:

Oprah Winfrey Vogue CoverAnna Wintour, the legendary editor of US style bible magazine Vogue is making it know that she made a “gentle suggestion” to prior to her front page photoshoot in 1998. According to Anna, it was just a gentle nudge: “I went to Chicago to visit Oprah, and I suggested that it might be an idea that she lose a little bit of weight. “I said simply that you might feel more comfortable. She was a trooper! She totally welcomed the idea, and she went on a very stringent diet. And it was one of our most successful covers ever.”

Oprah, 55, was featured on on the cover of Vogue, which carried the tagline ‘Oprah! A Major Movie, An Amazing Makeover’ in reference to her new film Beloved and weight loss. Anna has also called for better education to help halt rising cases of obesity in America. The 59-year-old fashionista - who recently commissioned a detailed feature on the issue - told : “I’d just been on a trip to Minnesota, where I can only kindly describe most of the people I saw as little houses. There’s such an epidemic of obesity in the United States, and for some reason, everybody focuses on anorexia. We need to spend money time and education on teaching people to eat, exercise and take care of themselves in a healthier way. It provoked, which is really the point.”

People are “little houses” - did you get that?
