Kanye West Pleas Not Guilty

Kanye WestKanye West has pled "not guilty" after being charged with allegedly attacking a paparazzo.

The 36-year-old rapper - who was caught on film reportedly assaulting photographer Daniel Ramos at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in July, was charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft stemming from the incident last month but did not appear in court for the latest hearing on Thursday, and his lawyer Blair Berk entered the plea on his behalf.

If convicted of both misdemeanors, the "New Slaves" hitmaker could be sentenced to one year in jail.

Speaking outside the court afterward, Ramos' lawyer Gloria Allred criticized the rapper for not being present even though he wasn't legally required to be. "It's just interesting to me that one of the most visible people in the entire world, Kanye West, who seems to love the press when it comes to promoting his music, when it comes to his relationships, especially family relationships, doesn't appear to want to at least come to court," she told TMZ. "I understand that his tour was cancelled so I don't see a reason why he couldn't be here, he certainly had a right to be here today," she added.

Chris BrownChris Brown is counter-suing Frank Ocean's cousin.

The "Pyramids" hitmaker's relative, Sha'Keir Duarte, filed a lawsuit in August against the "Fine China" singer - who is currently seeking treatment in a Malibu rehab facility to learn to cope with his anger management issues - claiming Chris' bodyguard violently beat him up when the two singers and their entourages got into an heated confrontation outside Westlake Recording Studio in Los Angeles in January.

But Chris has now fired back and claimed in new court documents that Duarte provoked the fight by threatening to kill him, according to gossip website TMZ.com. The 24-year-old star also accused Duarte of kicking and punching him, and insisted that he attempted to avoid the altercation "with the aggressive and hostile Mr. Duarte." Duarte is allegedly demanding $2 million in compensation and Chris has accused him of being motivated by money.

It was previously reported that Chris fled the scene straight after the fight, while Frank stayed to speak to police officers.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Are Suing YouTube Co-Founder

Kanye West and Kim KardashianKim Kardashian and Kanye West are suing YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and the rapper claim the billionaire "manipulated" his way into AT&T Park in San Francisco and released unauthorized footage of the moment the "New Slaves" hitmaker proposed to her on her 33rd birthday on October 21.

According to court documents, obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, the couple are accusing Hurley of scheming to post the video of the intimate moment on his new Internet venture, MixBit. Their lawyer Eric George also trashes the entrepreneur, claiming Hurley is desperate to find a "second act" because two of his other businesses have flopped since he sold YouTube for $1.65 billion.

It was previously reported that Kanye invited Kim's close family and friends, along with several well known Silicon Valley founders to watch his surprise proposal, but Hurley wasn't invited and they only let him stay after he signed a confidentiality agreement. They attached a picture of him holding the agreement to the lawsuit, which also states, "Hurley proceeded to try to turn the event into one starring himself, broadcasting the images he knew were the exclusive property rights of someone else."

Quincy Jones Sues Michael Jackson Estate

Michael Jackson and Quincy JonesQuincy Jones is suing Michael Jackson's estate.

The music producer and close friend of the late King of Pop - who produced some of his biggest hits including "Thriller" and "Billie Jean" - is seeking $10 million from the estate and record label Sony Music Entertainment, claiming that they re-edited Michael's hit songs in order to avoid paying him royalties and production costs.

The 80-year-old music expert believes tracks he produced for the singer have been improperly edited and featured in 2009 musical documentary This Is It and a pair of Cirque du Soleil stage shows which are based on Michael's music. Quincy feels he should have received a producer credit on the 2009 film, which chronicled Michael's preparation for his stage return at The O2 in London prior to his untimely death in June 2009, and he is seeking an investigation into the estate's accounting to determine how much he is owed from the profits of the film and theater productions.

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan is being sued by a truck driver who she crashed into in June 2012.

The 27-year-old actress faces more legal trouble as cement truck driver James Johnson has filed a lawsuit against her, claiming he suffered numerous injuries and "great physical, mental and nervous pain" following the incident, according to TMZ.

Lindsay crashed her Porsche 911S into James' vehicle after speeding along the Pacific Coast Highway last summer. The star was trying to get to the Malibu, California, set of her TV movie Liz & Dick and exceeded speed limits by driving at over 60 miles per hour. The troubled actress - who was on probation for stealing a necklace at the time of the incident - originally claimed she wasn't driving the vehicle and told police officers her now former assistant, Gavin Doyle, was behind the wheel, however, the aide confessed to officials that Lindsay was indeed driving.

Lindsay later pleaded "no contest" when charged with lying to police and accepted a plea deal which saw her agree to 90 days of court-ordered rehab. The starlet completed her rehab stint in early August and has taken proactive steps to get her life back on track, including seeking advice and guidance from talk show legend Oprah Winfrey.

Gaga continued, "The job was essentially a favor, and Jennifer was majorly unqualified for it." In her deposition testimony, Gaga stated, "You don't get a schedule. The court date was set for November 4, but it has now been ceased as the pair came to an undisclosed agreement.

BeyonceBeyonce Knowles has settled a $100 million lawsuit.

The 31-year-old singer has reached an agreement with videogame company Gate Five after allegedly backing out of a deal to create her own motion-capture dance game called Starpower: Beyonce.

Lawyers for both sides signed an agreement dismissing "all claims or counterclaims" without legal fees and filed the papers in Manhattan Supreme Court in New York on Friday. The gaming company's lawyer Peter Gallagher told the New York Post's Page Six, "We've settled amicably. I can't discuss the terms of the settlement, but it was resolved."
