Lindsay Lohan Escapes Lawsuit

Lindsay Lohan is no longer being sued for an alleged hit and run incident.

Nubia Del Carmen Preza has dropped the lawsuit she filed against the 27-year-old actress in 2012. The nanny claimed she was pushing a baby stroller in West Hollywood in June 2010 when the Mean Girls star hit her with her Maserati.

Preza's lawsuit stated she had suffered "disabling and serious personal injuries, pain, suffering and anguish" and that she was seeking damages for all her medical expenses and lost time at work. A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Nubia has thrown in the towel and didn't get any financial settlement from the actress.

Glee’s Lea Michele Victim of Hit and Run

Lea Michele, Glee’s reigning diva, was hit by a car on Friday morning.

Michele was driving on Melrose Avenue in LA, on her way home from work, when she was hit by a car driven by “a couple of drunk girls,” according to an unnamed source. The source says that after the collision, the girls “got out of the car, giggled that she [Lea Michele] was famous, and said something like ‘are you drunk, too?’ Then, they drove off.”

The actress called the police after the accident, but she is not injured and “is fine,” according to her rep. In any event, Michele is a trooper. The former Broadway star was famously involved in a car crash while on her way to her Glee audition and “ran into the audition with cuts and glass in my hair.”

And still managed to completely wow everyone in the room when she sang “On My Own” to secure the starring role on the successful show.

-More bad news for the family of Captain Phil Harris. Jake, a son of the recently deceased Deadliest Catch star, was arrested Thursday night for suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.

-Family Ties’ Brian Bonsall also found himself in trouble with the law this week. The troubled former child star was arrested this time for possession of marijuana - a violation of his release on an assault case.
