This holiday season is not faring well for Zac Efron fans. First he said goodbye to the girlfriend, then he bid farewell to his swoon-worthy hair.
The teen heartthrob cougar target was snapped up by a fan on the set of his new film The Lucky One sporting a buzzcut. While Efron has definitely strayed from his trademark long, tousled locks, he hasn't quite found anything that has suited him more.
Has he grown into the more adult hair style, or should he return to his roots?

For Kate Gosselin, 2009 marked the year she not only said goodbye to husband Jon Gosselin, but she also did away with her signature haircut, sporting hair extensions on the cover of People.
“It’s good to have hair again. I never thought I’d have short hair for as long as I did. I feel like this is a fresh start, a fresh me, a fresh life… I’ve got it. I am now Kate Clean Slate,” said the reality star.

While it’s sometimes easy to forget about Justin Timberlake‘s boy band roots, the entrepreneur is either kicking back to his NSYNC days or just becoming lazy with his hair. Timberlake showed off his new old ‘do when he recently walked on to a movie set.
I, for one, did not miss the curls—I hope that his stylist gets them chopped off soon (or at least until he’s done shooting his scenes).

Taylor Lautner Happy to Ditch the Wig

Teenage hunk Taylor Lautner loves having short hair again after being forced to wear a long wig for his new movie.
The 17-year-old actor had to don lengthy tresses for upcoming film New Moon, but was relieved to be told he could ditch it for good in the second half of the sequel: “I would not want that hair. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I couldn’t even recognize myself.”
The star also discovered he was a book worm after reading the novels the movie series is based on. Taylor admits he never really read much before picking up Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight Saga series - and then he was hooked:
“As a matter of fact, I was not a book reader at all. The only books I ever read were the ones I was forced to in school. But when I started reading this book series, I fell in love with the characters and started turning the pages one after another. It was crazy. I never thought I could do that. But I love this story. This franchise has everything in it - romance, action, suspense. It has a dark side to it.”

Unlike a certain ex who doesn’t want to let go, the singer seems to be enjoying change in her life.

More Celebrity Hair Changes

A few days ago, I wrote about a certain group of actresses who I thought were in need of a hair change. A lack of experimentation had those women stuck in a serious styling rut.
While I’m still waiting to see if my listed few will actually get around to surprising me, several other celebrities have come out of the woodwork recently to sport their new spring ‘dos. Although some tweaks came out better than others, I applaud every single one of them for at least trying.
