Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin Marry in Malibu

Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin have married.

The True Blood co-stars - who announced their engagement last year - got married on Saturday evening in California. According to Us Weekly, the couple - who have been dating since filming the pilot episode of the vampire drama in 2007 - exchanged vows beneath a tent at a private residence across the street from the beach in Malibu.

Guests included actor Elijah Wood and the pair’s fellow True Blood co-star Carrie Preston along with her husband, Lost actor Michael Emerson. No further details were available at the time of writing.

British star Stephen - who portrays vampire Bill Compton to Anna’s Sookie Stackhouse - recently admitted he decided to propose to the TV beauty earlier this month because it would be “ridiculous” to keep calling her his girlfriend. Stephen - who has two children, Billy, 10, and Lilac, eight, from previous relationships, but has never been married before - said, “It got to the point where I just was thinking, ‘You are calling somebody who you intend to stay with for the rest of your life your girlfriend.”

Megan Fox Gets New Tattoo in Honor of Mickey Rourke

Megan Fox has recently inked herself in honor of actor Mickey Rourke. And don’t worry—she didn’t get his face needled into her flesh.

“Mickey is such a beautiful, wonderful human being. He’s so genuine and so sweet and so talented. I just love him to death.. I actually got a tattoo that is sort of in honor of him. It’s on my ribs. I don’t know if it’s been photographed yet, but it’ll come out eventually, I’m sure. I just love him very much and think he’s very special,” Fox said of her Passion Play co-star.

Jodie Foster Gives Kristen Stewart Career Advice

It’s been 8 years since their work together, but Jodie Foster still has advice to give for her Panic Room co-star Kristen Stewart.

“Just about how to not go crazy… And [how to] be a young actor who wants to have a long career,” Foster said when asked what words of wisdom she could offer.

actress named Lindsay Lohan...

Foster later went on to say that Stewart doesn’t necessarily need the advice: “She doesn’t need any help. She’s on the right track. She’s a good girl… And I love that kid. I spent so much time with her.”

Stewart may not be crazy and may not have career issues, but she could at least pretend to enjoy what she does at premieres and red carpet events.

Co-Star Had No Idea About Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin

So maybe True Blood‘s Ryan Kwanten not having a clue about co-stars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin’s relationship wasn’t necessarily his fault. Turns out their other co-star, Sam Trammell, had not a clue, either!

In a post-Emmy party, Trammell, who plays the shapeshifter Sam Merlotte on the hit vampire show, revealed that he didn’t see it coming: “I think they’re both just really independent, really talented people, and they just kind of fit together… They’re so professional, I had no idea they were together at first. And then I had no idea he’d proposed to her.”

Don’t count on fiction meshing with reality here—Sam, whose character is in love with Anna’s Sookie despite her relationship with vampire Bill (Moyer), has nothing but good wishes for the newly-engaged: “They’ve been together a long time, and it’s working out. I’m happy for them.”
