Claire Danes Excited About Motherhood

Claire Danes is very excited about becoming a mother. The Homeland actress is expecting her first child with husband Hugh Dancy and while she knows their lives are going to change forever, she admits they're already smitten with the baby.
"There's no way of anticipating what that's going to mean for us but we are very excited. We are going to love this person, I know that," she said.
Claire grew up around little children but admits she doesn't have much experience with newborn babies. "My mom ran a toddler school in our loft; I grew up in the city. So I grew up with one-and two-year-olds all throughout my childhood, and I know about early childhood development - that particular window I am pretty educated on. Anything before and after I might have some trouble," she said.
Claire also revealed she and Hugh - who married in 2009 - know the sex of the baby but have decided to keep it quiet. "It's important to keep a little something to ourselves because we are so public," she added.

Congratulations go out to Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy, who have confirmed that they are expecting their first child.
Back in fall, Claire admitted to wanting children, but that none were on the way just then: “There’s definitely a chance, no plans yet... But yeah, that’d be fun."
The couple married in France back in 2009.

Kate Hudson vs. Claire Danes: Battle of the Skinnies

Up until recently, I would have said that Kate Hudson was one of the skinniest actresses in America. (Notice I said America, because otherwise Keira Knightley would easily have her beat).
But then I saw Claire Danes.
I’ve always been told that black was a slimming color, but apparently red does a pretty good job as well.

Weeds Co-Stars Engaged

Every once in a while, you come across a person you hardly now….and you find yourself rooting for them. For me, Mary-Louise Parker is one of those people.
Why? Two words: Billy Crudup.
Although I loved him in Almost Famous, the actor’s Q-score went down (in my eyes) when he left a 7-months-pregnant Parker for actress Claire Danes. Couldn’t he have waited until she at least had the baby? Dear God—they’d already been dating like seven years at that point…what’s a few more months?
