Kristen Stewart Wants to Tattoo Her Head

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Hair Styles, Features,

Kristen StewartKristen Stewart wants to shave and tattoo her head.

The On The Road actress has to keep her long brunette locks for parts in movies, but if she had her way she'd sport lots of crazy hairstyles and colors and has vowed to cut it all off one day:

"If I wasn't an actor, I would definitely do things to my hair. I would cut it more, I would dye it more. At some point I want to do a total boy cut, completely - not a pretty, girly version - like a straight up James Dean haircut. And then, I'm definitely going to shave my head before I die. I will definitely tattoo my head while it's shaved before my hair grows back. I'm not sure which part, probably the bottom quadrant in the back. I don't know what the tattoo would be, yet. Still thinking."

The 23-year-old actress added she doesn't care whether people like her image, as worrying about other people's opinions can only hinder her art. "As long as I feel solid about my creative choices, people can have whatever image or perception of me that they'd like. You can't think that someone's impression of you is wrong - it's their impression - and, therefore, you really can't worry about it. So many people have developed their impressions based on f***ing bull***t, and you'll never do anything true to yourself, you'll never make the art you want to make," she added.

Josh Duhamel Drives Wedge Between Fergie and Will.i.am

Josh Duhamel and FergieJosh Duhamel reportedly wants Fergie to distance herself from will.i.am.

The Safe Haven star is trying to encourage his wife to return to her solo career, but feels the only way she'll gain success is if she lets go of her Black Eyed Peas bandmate. "Josh is pushing hard for Fergie to make a much cleaner and clearer break from The Black Eyed Peas so she can re-invent herself as a solo artist without the looming spectre of will.i.am influencing every creative decision she makes," a source said.

Fergie - who has four-month-old son Axl with Josh - is reportedly struggling with her self-esteem, but the hunky actor is adamant he'll boost her confidence. "Josh is her biggest fan and he's getting a lot more assertive and interested in Fergie's business. He wants to drive a more permanent wedge between her and will," the source explained.

The 38-year-old singer - who hasn't released a solo album since 2006 - recently said will.i.am would be handling the production of her second solo release, but it is now believed she is beginning to side with Josh.

Emma Watson to Focus on University

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Rumors,

Emma WatsonEmma Watson has turned down films to focus on her university exams.

The 23-year-old actress is studying English at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she will be sitting her finals and needs to concentrate on her academic success. "Emma is in demand with Hollywood directors but has so much to focus on with her studies, that she has had to pass on a few things - she simply can't do everything. It's tough but she believes it was the right thing," a source said.

Emma was catapulted to the spotlight as school girl Hermione Granger in the film adaptations of Harry Potter where she starred alongside Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley). She and the other teenage stars were tutored on set for up to five hours a day, and despite having to balance her filming schedule with academics the blonde beauty managed to achieve eight A+ and two A grades during her GCSE school examinations - which are taken by students aged 14-16 in secondary education across the United Kingdom.

Justin BieberA Christmas miracle to some and utter disappointment to Beliebers, Justin Bieber has reiterated his statement on retiring yesterday.

Although an insider close to the musician quelled fans' shock when he initially told Los Angeles radio station Power 106 last week that he was retiring, the 19-year-old confirmed the news again on his Twitter.

"My beloved beliebers I'm officially retiring," he wrote on the social networking site. Additionally, the "Boyfriend" singer hinted at the reason behind his career decision: "The media talks a lot about me.They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I'm never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle."

He also reassured fans, wishing them a Merry Christmas and posting, "IM HERE FOREVER [sic]."

Until we get a more official word from his team, I'm probably not going to trust the Twitter page of a teenage star who's been acting recklessly in the past few months, but that's just me. Let's not forget that Britney Spears went back to work after her meltdown...

Meryl Streep Doesn’t Buy into Hollywood Hype

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Features,

Meryl StreepMeryl Streep doesn't think she's the "most wonderful thing in the world."

While the 64-year-old star is one of the most celebrated actresses in Hollywood - with three Oscars under her belt - she admits she doesn't buy into the hype and credits her children with keeping her feet on the ground. "When I'm not acting I don't have any sort of belief that I'm the most wonderful thing in the world. I have four children who remind me of this regularly! I'm under no illusions about my limitations as a human being," Meryl - who has four grown-up children, Henry, Mamie, Grace and Louisa - said.

The actress plays Violet Weston, an addict mother who has strained relations with her long-suffering children, in August: Osage County, and she admits she struggled with the role as she is so devoted to her kids Henry, 34, Mamie, 30, Grace, 27, and Louisa, 22. When quizzed if her children have seen her portrayal of a bad mother, Meryl said, "They haven't seen it yet except my youngest and she said, 'Mom, everybody is going to hate you but you're so good in this.' I realized it's worth risking everything to go to a place where you'll be loathed."

Katy Perry: Russell Brand Really Wanted Children

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Music, Divorce, Features,

Katy Perry and Russell BrandRussell Brand wanted kids with Katy Perry when they were married.

The pair tied the knot in October 2010 following a whirlwind romance and although Russell was ready to start a family, Katy wasn't as keen because she didn't want to sacrifice her pop career.

Katy - whose divorce from the comedian was finalized in February 2012 just a few months after Russell filed legal separation papers in December 2011 - said, "[Russell] really wanted me to have children, and I knew I wasn't ready. I think it was a way of control. I think it was part of, 'If I have a kid, then I would have to sacrifice - I'd have to be home more.' I really wanted to, but I knew I wasn't ready for it."

The "Roar" hitmaker - who is now in a committed relationship with musician John Mayer - insists she is still not ready to become a mother but when the time comes she wants to be a hands-on parent.

Mary J. Blige Admits She Was “Horrible”

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Drugs, Drunk, Features,

Mary J. BligeMary J. Blige has confessed she was a "horrible person" at the start of her career.

The "Someone To Love Me" singer garnered a reputation for being a "bad girl" in the 90s as she was battling self-confessed problems with drugs and alcoholism, looking back now she believes claims her behavior was a side-effect of her feeling vulnerable as a person.

"I was a so-called bad girl or horrible person, the reputation that I had. I was young and I was trying to protect myself as best I could. And I have always had a really good monitor for trouble, especially back then," she explained, speaking to Metro.

The 42-year-old star insists the mistakes she made in her past have made her a wiser person and she would advise young musicians to always learn from their errors. Mary - who stars in Christmas movie Black Nativity alongside Jennifer Hudson and Forest Whitaker - said, "When you're young, you're going to make a lot of mistakes but the only way to learn is to make the mistakes, so you have to let them make them. That's how I learned. By making a thousand mistakes."

Disney Star Calls Joe Jonas Out on “Bull****”

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Television, Rants, Rivalries,

Joe Jonas has been slammed as a "bad artist" by Dylan Sprouse.

The former Jonas Brothers star gave a revealing interview earlier this week in which he claimed he felt working for Disney meant he had to "sugarcoat" his true self and had little choice or creative input into his work.

But now his fellow former Disney star Dylan - best known for starring with twin brother Cole in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody - has hit out at his "bulls**t" comments, insisting Joe was more likely dazzled by fame than being prepared to make his own decisions. In a blog post, Dylan wrote, "I think it's bulls**t that they were being robbed of choice or creativity. If they wanted too, they could have told Disney 'No.' Cole and I did this hundreds of times and we ended up all right. The only reason they didn't is because, like many of the people on that channel, I think they fell for the allure of fame... Nowadays artists just assume they have to do what they are told by their proprietors because there is a 'rigid structure to achievement.' It is nothing more than a scheme to rob you of your individuality and capitalize the gain they acquire from such treachery. If you believe this, not only are you incredibly foolish, but you are a BAD ARTIST [sic]."

Will Ferrell: I’m a Middle-Aged One Direction

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Features,

Will FerrellWill Ferrell claims he's a middle-aged version of One Direction.

The popular comedian feels akin to the British boy band because he has started to induce hysteria among teenage fans whenever he goes out in public. "We had gone out to dinner, and by the time we had left the restaurant, there was a mob of high-school kids outside. There was a panel that blocked part of the window and they were jumping up trying to look. I'm a 46-year-old version of One Direction. All five of them packed into one middle-aged guy," he joked, recalling one particular incident in Seattle.

The loud-mouthed star - who is returning to screens as hapless newsreader Ron Burgundy in the sequel to cult comedy Anchorman - insists he wasn't always so confident and used to be a painfully shy child: "I was extremely shy. I had to meet everyone and until I was comfortable with everyone. I didn't say a word. Once I got to speak, everyone saw my true colors. And it'd be like, 'Wait, you're funny!' It's not that I lacked confidence. I never felt the need to impress anyone, but I wanted to feel that I belonged."

Octavia Spencer Fine without Kids

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Features,

Octavia SpencerOctavia Spencer has no regrets about not having children.

The Fruitvale Station star admits her eggs are almost "past their expiration date," but insists she is "fine" with her decision to focus on her career instead of starting a family.

"I should be married and have 19 kids. And now I'm thinking my eggs are dying on the shelf. They're going to go past their expiration date. But it's what I chose, so I'm fine with that decision," the 43-year-old actress said, speaking at a roundtable discussion for The Hollywood Reporter.

Julia Roberts also participated in the interview, along with Amy Adams, Lupita Nyong'o, Emma Thompson and Oprah Winfrey, and confessed she felt she "earned" a break from Hollywood to start her family, including twins, Hazel and Finn, eight, and Henry, six, with husband Danny Moder after almost two decades of acting: "I had been working for 18 years when I had Hazel and Finn almost nine years ago. So I felt like I earned that time in my house and in my kitchen and in bed all day with these two little people. I felt that was my present to myself."
