Jennifer Lawrence Hates Hollywood Weight Pressure

Jennifer Lawrence won't lose weight for her career. The Hunger Games actress hates the pressure in Hollywood for female stars to conform to an ideal of beauty and be a certain size and she refuses to be made to feel overweight for eating normally.
"Oh god, yes, I'm so tired of the lollipops. I mean, if I looked like that I wouldn't be tired of it, obviously, but it's hilarious, the way I'm supposedly the overweight one. Like, they (the paparazzi) got me at the movies yesterday and the caption read something like, 'Curvy star cannot wait to dig into a tub of popcorn.' I mean come on! I'm just a normal girl who likes to eat! At least they got me using my hands," she ranted.
The 22-year-old blonde beauty takes the responsibility of playing teen idol Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games very seriously and wants to be a good role model to her fans, but admitted she has little in common with her tough on-screen alter-ego and is far from a natural leader in real life. "I guess people expect that of me, and if I had to kill something for survival, maybe I would and yeah, maybe I was a tomboy when I was growing up. But I'm definitely a girl now... Of course, there's a responsibility I'm aware of. In one sense, luckily, it comes naturally because I can't stay out beyond midnight. I don't really have an exciting life. But if you mean, am I natural leader? No. I just appear that way," she told British Vogue.

Sofia Vergara is planning to enhance her famous assets.
The Modern Family star wants breast lift surgery to show off her curves to their full potential and acknowledges that her ample bosom has "opened doors" for her career.
"I want to show all this off while I still have it. I already know I am going to get a breast lift. Then, maybe one day, when I am done with being sexy, I will just get rid of them. I know [my breasts] have opened doors for me, let's be real. But I so hate when I see Gisele [Bundchen] and she is wearing a tiny little tank top with no bra, like, 'Oh, I just threw this on, I look so cute.' If I wore that I would look like I was pregnant, or a fat stripper," Sofia joked.
The 40-year-old brunette - who is engaged to entrepreneur Nick Loeb - also confessed she loves indulging in a glamorous lifestyle and is not ashamed to admit she is high maintenance.

Anjelica Huston’s Dad Made Her Feel ‘Plain’

Anjelica Huston's father made her feel unattractive.
The 61-year-old actress was devastated as a teenager when she heard her actor dad John Huston say he thought she would grow up to be "plain," and his remark made her feel very insecure about her appearance.
"I was not at my happiest in my late teens. I went from confident and secure to shy and insecure and back again. I wish I could have been more accepting of myself. I had once overheard my father saying, when I was about 15 or 16, that I might turn out to be plain. That was a particularly unattractive moment for me. My nose was growing and my chin was receding, by comparison, and no one knew more than me how plain I felt."
Anjelica - whose mother Enrica died when she was 18 - also admitted that working with her father on one of her first movies was such a bad experience, it put her off acting for many years:

Kirstie Alley Defends Lady Gaga

Kirstie Alley has defended Lady Gaga's weight gain.
The 26-year-old pop star was slammed for recently putting on 25lbs but Kirstie - who has struggled with her own weight in the past - says the "Judas" hitmaker was so skinny that gaining a few curves can only be a good thing.
"With [Lady Gaga], she gains [25] pounds and it becomes this huge thing. She was so freaking skinny that [25] pounds would make her a what, size two? There's an insanity here. I know it's a pressure on her. I know it is. It's really hard to play that game," she told People.

Lady Gaga’s Boyfriend Likes Her Curvy Figure

Lady Gaga's boyfriend prefers her to be curvier.
The "Born This Way" singer has recently gained 25lbs but says she's happier than ever with her body, especially because partner Taylor Kinney is a huge fan of her new fuller figure.
Writing on her blog, alongside pictures of herself in a bikini, she said, "My boyfriend prefers me curvier. When I eat and am healthy and not so worried about my looks. I'm happy. Happier than I've ever been. I am not going to go on a psycho-spree because of scrutiny. This is who I am. And I am proud at any size."
Gaga - who recently confessed to sufferer from eating disorders in the past - also thanked her fans for supporting her during her struggles and giving her the self-confidence she has always needed. "My weight/loss/gain since I was a child has tormented me. No amount of help has ever healed my pain about it. But you have," she wrote.

Demi Lovato says her body issues began when she was three. The X Factor judge - who has spent time in rehab getting treatment for her eating disorder and self harming - admits she felt she was overweight from a very young age, and the insecurities have stayed with her.
"I remember being three years old in a diaper and rubbing my hand over my stomach ... and I remember thinking in my head, 'I wonder if one day this will ever be flat?'" she said on Katie.
The 20-year-old beauty - who has recently been named as the new ambassador of an anti-bullying campaign - was targeted at school as the girls used to tease her for her appearance. "It played more of a toll on me than if I was physically abused in school. I've always said I wished that they had just hit me in the face and gotten it over with because what they said to me sticks to me to this day and it affected me, (turned) me into the person I am today. I was bullied and they called me fat and they called me horrible things," she added.

The 20-year-old star admits she has considered having her body art removed by laser, but has decided not to worry too much about them until she is much older. "I've thought about it before because, you know, when I get older I don't know if I want to have rock and roll on my middle finger. I'm young and I can rock it now and when I get older I can worry about it later," she said.
Speaking of one inking, a tattoo of her friend's lips on her wrist, she added, "It was just a spur of the moment, stupid decision."
In late 2010, the X Factor judge checked into rehab to be treated for an eating disorder and self-harm issues and she admits it was a "relief" to be diagnosed with bipolar disorder as it meant she wasn't "crazy. "I was like, 'Oh my gosh, that means I'm not really crazy, there's a reason.' And it was just so awesome to be able to pinpoint a diagnosis for the reasons why I was extremely happy and in, like, a euphoric state, and the next month I was in, like, a deep depression. I had everything great in my life I had nothing to complain about but I wasn't happy," she said in an interview.

The Fashion Police host thinks there is too much pressure on beautiful women to maintain their looks and thinks it is important for everyone to stop comparing themselves to other people.
"Women are so unforgiving of themselves. We don't recognize our own beauty, because we're too busy comparing ourselves to other people. No, we are not all Gisele Bundchen or Beyonce Knowles but I can tell you even the most beautiful girls in the world have felt insecure. Just seeing the pressure my friends Kim Kardashian and Kate Moss are under makes me never want to be the prettiest in the room. There is no such thing as perfection. Try this; look in the mirror. Find one thing you like... think, 'Well, I've got this, and a lot of people don't.' You have to look at what you do have."

Gwen Stefani Wears Make-Up For Gavin Rossdale

The No Doubt singer - who is known for her trademark red lips and pale skin - has confessed that the main reason she wears such heavy make-up is to please her husband of ten years, rock musician Gavin. "I like to make my husband like me more, and he likes it when I'm wearing makeup," she told Harper's Bazaar.
Gwen added to the interviewer, "I already put my makeup on twice today: I put it on to take my kid to school, and then I went home, washed my face, and put it on again to have lunch with you."
The blonde bombshell also said you would need to "torture yourself" in order to achieve her rock solid abs and the 42-year-old claims her enviable figure is down to a strict exercise regime. "There is no secret: You just have to eat healthy, work out, and torture yourself!" she joked.

Jeremy Renner Puts His Career First

Jeremy Renner is "married" to his career.
The 41-year-old actor is currently single and has never married and says he made a decision to put work first in his life after seeing many of his family - including his parents, who separated when he was 10 years old - go through divorces.
"I come from a large, large family with many divorces so I chose not to go down that route straight away. Instead I essentially got married to my career," he said.
Just as he made a decision about marriage early on in his life, The Bourne Legacy star accepted his unconventional looks from a young age as he was always taught to think himself "beautiful." In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, he said, "Aren't we taught as kids that we're beautiful because we feel beautiful and not because someone else says so? You don't look like the model on the magazine cover but you can still be beautiful, so I can't say I really want to change anything. I'm happy with the flaws I have."
