Shockingly, the above image of Madonna and Miley Cyrus has not been touched by Photoshop (not drastically altered, anyway).
The "Celebration" singer is indeed trying her best impression of the 21-year-old - and failing (and by "failing," I mean looking as though she's trying way too hard to win over younger fans). Much buzz indeed surrounded Madonna's duet with Miley for the "Wrecking Ball" singer's MTV Unplugged performance, but perhaps it's because we all sensed that something this awkward would come of it.

Awkward Photo of the Day: Leonardo DiCaprio “Incognito” in Venice

It's hard to tell if Leonardo DiCaprio is testing out his Halloween costume early or legitimately trying to detract attention from himself. If it's the latter, he really should consider some other less futile disguises.
The Great Gatsby actor took to the streets of Venice in an simplistic black mask and sunglasses (apparently in order to walk around unnoticed). DiCaprio - who was previously promoting his latest film at the Cannes Film Festival and is now taking time off in Europe - was quite a sight when he was determined to eat a slice of pizza without removing his mask.

Awkward Photo of the Day: Adrien Brody and Lara Lieto

Talk about being extremely anti-PDA.
Adrien Brody and his girlfriend Lara Lieto were spotted leaving Fred Segal in West Hollywood when the Oscar-winner decided to plant a kiss on the model - who ended up looking rather disgusted in photos as she failed to reciprocate the liplock. Though a flock of paparazzi flashing cameras in your face can be annoying, it doesn't look like Brody was asking for a heavy make out session. While it seems like this was just one awkward shot, check out the rest of the photos from the awkward missed kiss after the jump!

Awkward Couple of the Day: Nikki Reed and Jaden Smith

Out of the dozens of men whom Nikki Reed could have taken to the Eclipse premiere, the starlet chose Will Smith’s son, 11 year-old Jaden. And I thought that Demi was the epitome of a cougar.
“I invited him when we were on Ellen together. Will Smith came into my room and was like, ‘It would be really cool if you could say hi to my son.’ My jaw was, like, on the floor. I was drooling and flabbergasted. I was like, ‘Yeah, sure! I can meet your son.’ And then Jaden comes in and he’s like, ‘Hey, what’s up?’ because he’s so cool… He taught me some karate moves and I was like, ‘Do you want to be my date to the Eclipse premiere because I don’t have a date? I guess that makes me a cougar. Yeah, I’m a cougar!”
