Drake Uses Drugs to Cope with Fame
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Drugs, Drunk, Parties,
Drake has confessed he has taken drugs to cope with the pressures of fame. The rapper was catapulted to stardom in 2010 after his debut album Thank Me Later went to number one in America, but he has revealed his career comes at a price as he feels an '"overwhelming stress" as an artist and he has taken substances "in moderation" to relax.
"Have I sipped codeine before? Yeah, of course. Have I smoked weed? Yes. Do I drink wine? Yes. But do I do it excessively? No. I'm not a reckless guy. I do it all within moderation," he told The Guardian.
Although he is completely in control of his life, the 25-year-old musician - who has collaborated with the likes of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne - can understand why lots of stars do go off the rails: "You get artists who go crazy and don't know how to handle it. There are people who have killed themselves. There's the overwhelming stress, how tired you are, the weight on your shoulders of going out and giving 18,000 people entertainment ... It's a lot of pressure."

Whitney Houston Autopsy Complete
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Music, Drunk, Obituaries,
Whitney Houston's death was reportedly caused by prescription drugs and alcohol.
An autopsy on the 48-year-old singer - who was found dead in the bath of her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday - has been completed and Los Angeles County Coroner officials have told her relatives that she did not drown.
Sources told TMZ.com that the coroner did not find enough water in Whitney's lungs to suggest she died in the bath, but they believe her passing was a result of the combination of alcohol, Xanax and other prescription drugs she had taken. It is believed that Whitney's official cause of death will not be released for some time to allow police to complete investigations.
"The Beverly Hills Police Department has requested the Coroner's Office put the results on a 'security hold,' because it could hamper their ongoing investigation," a source told RadarOnline.com.
Whitney's mother reportedly plans to have the singer's body flown back to Atlanta tomorrow now the autopsy is complete.

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Television, Drunk, Obituaries,
Jackass star Ryan Dunn's death was so violent it is unknown if it was caused by the car crash or the subsequent fire.
The autopsy result for the actor and Zachary Hartwell - who was also killed when Ryan's Porsche flew over a barrier and into a tree on Route 332 yesterday - were both dead when officers arrived on the scene, and according to TMZ.com the Chester County Coroner has confirmed it is impossible to determine how they died.
Toxicology results will determine the role alcohol played in the accident but will not be revealed for at least four weeks, but he did post pictures hours before the accident of him enjoying himself in a bar. Van Toffler, president of MTV Networks, has paid tribute to the star, noting the Jackass "brotherhood" would not be the same as a result of his passing.
"We are devastated by the tragic loss of Ryan Dunn - a beloved member of the MTV family for more than a decade. The Jackass brotherhood will never be the same."

Britney Spears Dancers Ordered Not to Give Her Drugs, Alcohol
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Music, Child Stars, Drugs, Drunk, Legal Issues,
While Britney Spears may have finally made her true comeback, a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) handed out to her dancers proves that the Princess of Pop is still not in control of her own life.
In the document, a dancer "acknowledges that it is essential that [Britney] not be exposed to any alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances." The NDA goes on to read that dancers could face random drug tests; if they fail or refuse to take them, they risk losing their job.
Partying sober with Britney Spears? Talk about a paradox!
She may be 29 years-old, but her management finds it necessary to treat her like a 9 year-old; even Miley Cyrus gets more freedom than Britney.
