Kim Kardashian had to beg Kanye West to attend her baby shower because it is being filmed for an E! special.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star - who is expecting her first child in July with the 35-year-old rapper - has allegedly guilted him in to making an appearance at the bash, even though he wants nothing to do with her reality TV show.
A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com Kim had to beg Kanye "to stop by the baby shower which is taking place on June 2. The baby shower will be filmed for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and he just doesn't want to appear on the show at all, period. Kim nagged him until he agreed when she said it would look really bad if he didn't show up. Kanye thinks it's silly to even go to the baby shower since he will be the only man there. He will be there for less than ten minutes, tops. It was important to Kim that he go, so he agreed."

Amanda Bynes' parents are trying to get her placed under a conservatorship.
The She's The Man actress has worried her parents Rick and Lynn so much with her bizarre recent antics that they visited several lawyers in a bid to sign over all legal, medical and financial control of her affairs to an external party. The troubled star was booked for drug possession on Thursday evening when police visited her New York City apartment after receiving a report of a disorderly person. Amanda - who was spotted smoking a joint in the lobby and behaved erratically throughout the incident - was taken to hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, before being arrested for criminal possession of marijuana, as well as reckless endangerment and felony tampering with evidence when she attempted to throw a bong out of the window.

Lea Michele has landed a book deal.
The Glee actress has been commissioned by Harmony Books, an imprint of Random House's Crown Publishing Group, to write Brunette Ambition, a "part memoir, part how-to and part style-guide" which will portray her life "from normal Bronx-born schoolgirl to Broadway child star to lead actress in one of the most popular shows on television."
"There wasn't a guidebook when I was growing up, that detailed everything I would need to do, and know, to get where I am today. But I believe I can write one of sorts: not a how-to-make-it-in-show-business book, but a guide to harnessing tenacity, passion, enthusiasm and hard work to make your dreams come true," she said in a statement.
Linking to an article about her book deal, an excited Lea wrote on Twitter, "So excited to FINALLY get to share my exciting news with you all!!! #BRUNETTEAMBITION (sic)."

Amanda Bynes Still Claims She’s Going to Sue Tabloids

All bark and no bite? Amanda Bynes recently claimed (again) that she's going to sue InTouch for publishing a false story which features supposed photos of her in a New York apartment surrounded by drugs.
Naturally, the actress went to Twitter to spew her disapproval: "I have to sue because that's not my apartment, those aren't my clothes!... [The magazine] morphed photos of my face onto someone's body to ruin my life!... I don't care enough to keep talking about it. Just assume that I f--ked the boyfriend of the editor of intouch because they f--king hate me!"
An older photo of Bynes appears on the cover of the magazine, which the former Nickelodeon star also didn't appreciate, as she's since undergone plastic surgery to amend her (supposed) facial imperfections: "I have to make a big deal of this and sue because that's not me! I care about my appearance so I have to defend myself! I look like a different person now that I had surgery."
InTouch has yet to comment about the alleged libel.

Kendall Jenner ought to be more selective about the things she writes on Twitter these days.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was blasted by Frances Bean Cobain - daughter of the late Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love - on the microblogging site over what Cobain believed to be an insensitive and idiotic comment. "Just wish things could be easier sometimes mann (sic)," Kendall wrote, to which Cobain sounded off:
"i’d rather be a scumbag than a f--king idiot. Praise high IQ’s, good taste & awareness about the state of the world... oh ya, not to mention, CANCER, famine, poverty, draught, disease, natural disasters, Death. F--k, Humans are so self involved... oh shh. There are kids on earth abandoned&homeless who forcibly drink contaminated water because clean water isn’t accessible... I'd like to thank my parents for providing me with a high IQ & I'd like to thank my grams for encouraging me not to be a self absorbed idiot (sic)."

Paris Hilton will marry River Viiperi "soon." The 32-year-old heiress has been dating the 21-year-old model for eight months, but the pair are smitten with one another and the socialite thinks they will definitely tie the knot in the near future.
"It could happen soon... I trust him with my life and that means the world to me more than anything," she said when asked about plans to marry.
Paris - who was previously engaged to model Jason Shaw and shipping heir Paris Latsis - also admitted she is keen to start a family with river: "I can't wait to have little Parises." The former reality TV star has previously admitted she has curbed her partying ways and "grown up," so can't wait to settle down with River. "I'm staying out of trouble. I've grown up," she said recently.
Asked if she is ready to start a family, she said, "I think that's every woman's dream. I think that's the meaning of life to have children and have a family one day. I am so in love. I feel so lucky to have met him. He's one of the kindest, most loyal men I've ever met in my entire life, and he treats me like a princess. He's the most beautiful man I've ever seen in my life."

The Desperate Housewives actress received her Master's degree in Chicano Studies and took to Twitter to share her excitement ahead of the ceremony. "Big day today!!! Very excited to graduate for my Master's degree in Chicano Studies! You're never too old or too busy to continue your education! (sic)" she wrote.

January Jones says only her son should know who his father is.
The Mad Men actress - whose ex-boyfriends include Ashton Kutcher and Jason Sudeikis - is remaining tight-lipped about the identity of her 20-month-old son Xander's dad and has taken advice from legendary actor Jack Nicholson in how to approach difficult questions about the subject.
When asked to state who Xander's father was, the blonde beauty told The New York Times newspaper, "That's my son's business. It's not the public's business. Jack Nicholson once told me, 'You should never give your personal life away, otherwise people will pick you apart. They'll never believe in your character.'"
January believes women have a right to keep "secrets" and likes the idea of saving unknown information for a future project, such as a journal. "Women should have lots of secrets. It's our right to have secrets. Otherwise, what would we write in our memoirs?" she added.

Kelly Osbourne has bronchitis.
The Fashion Police host was hospitalized two years ago with the lung infection and after she woke up yesterday coughing and spluttering she has been diagnosed by her doctor as suffering from the nasty illness.
"Woke up feeling sick so I went to the Doctor & I have bronchitis it sucks I cant stop coughing! I thought I just had allergies! (sic)" Kelly wrote on Twitter.
The 28-year-old star is no stranger to misdiagnosing herself. In 2011, she thought she had "just a cold" but it turned out to be a severe sinus infection and bronchitis, which led to her being put on an antibiotics in 2011. She tweeted at the time, "Making soup... I just went to the doctor and found out what I thought was just a cold is a sinus infection and bronchitis. The antibiotics im on are kicking my a** i feel like im walking around with weights on my ankles & wrists! I tried all natural i hate taking antibiotics but according to my DR [doctor] i almost gave myself pneumonia! i have really really bad bronchitis! (sic)"

Brandi Glanville Hits Out at Eddie Cibrian

Brandi Glanville has hit out at her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian for not being able to get in contact with their children.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star bashed the actor on Twitter for preventing her from speaking to their sons, Mason, nine, and Jake, five, while they were staying with him and his wife LeAnn Rimes. The 40-year-old blonde author expressed her frustration in a message to Eddie on Twitter on Monday night writing, "Ive been trying to get a hold of my kids 4 over an hour no response to my calls, emails or messages. Maybe twitter will work (sic)."
The tweet provoked a defensive response from LeAnn, who soon wrote, "Funny, she just got off the phone w/ them. Sorry, we were doing baths, homework & dinner. All good! The phone rang, I picked it up. Never saw this til after. All you gotta do is call."
