Brooke Hogan Calls Off Engagement

Brooke Hogan has reportedly called off her engagement.
The 25-year-old blonde, whose father is wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, is said to have called time on her relationship with American football player Phil Costa a few weeks ago following his Las Vegas proposal in June.
According to gossip website TMZ, the singer-and-actress has decided to cool her relationship with the Dallas Cowboys player in order to focus on her music career. Sources told the website Brooke has recently moved back to Los Angeles to be closer to her mother and finish off her album.
While Hulk eventually approved Brooke's engagement to Costa, he initially hinted he wasn't happy about the pair planning to wed by posting a mysterious message on Twitter in June shortly after hearing the news. "Where's the truck that ran over me twice? Hogan and Vegas doesn't work brother HH [sic]," the 60 year-old star wrote.

Dina Lohan to Do Community Service

Lindsay Lohan's mother has reportedly been referred to a community service program.
Dina Lohan has been told volunteering could help her alleged drunk driving case, after she was arrested in Long Island, New York, in September for driving at "a speed of 77 mph in a 55mph zone" while intoxicated, according to police.
The 51-year-old mother-of-four has pleaded not guilty and surrendered her driving license.
Her attorney presented a report yesterday that shows Dina was "free of any alcohol or substance issues," although the judge has ordered an independent treatment evaluation ahead of her next court appearance on January 7.
Sources say Dina's daughter Lindsay, 27, wasn't surprised her mother was arrested for drunken-driving.

Kim Kardashian is selling her clothes on eBay to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
The Keeping up with the Kardashians star has put a selection of items on the auction site in order to raise money for the non-profit organization International Medical Corps to help victims of the devastating cyclone, which has killed more than 4,000 people in the Philippines this month.
However, instead of donating the entire proceeds, she's only giving 10 per cent of the sales to the charity.
The 33-year-old beauty - who has a reported net worth of $65 million - took to her Twitter page yesterday to share the link to her personal website. "Hi guys, this is a very special auction because a portion of the proceeds of my eBay auction are going to International Medical Corps, a nonprofit organization that provides critical health services on remote islands where families are struggling to access medical care and basic resources like food, clean drinking water and vital medications. The proceeds will go directly to the communities they're serving in the Philippines and will help typhoon survivors get access to medical care and ultimately save lives. My prayers and thoughts are with those affected by the typhoon. Check out my eBay auction here and support those who need our help in the Philippines. Xo. [sic]," she wrote.

Whitney Port is now engaged.
The former star of The Hills is heading for the altar with Tim Rosenman, her representative has confirmed to People magazine. The 28-year-old beauty has been dating the associate producer from her spinoff show The City since 2012, after she split from fellow MTV star Ben Nemetin. A source told Us Weekly the pair kept in contact after the show ended in 2010 and they "always had crushes on each other."
"She is super comfortable with him and in love. She likes that he is from New York because he is such a great tour guide when they visit the city," the source said.
Whitney won't be reuniting with any of her fellow Hills stars on her upcoming big day. "I think we all kind of went our separate ways once the show ended. I'm fine with it, like I'm at peace with it. With me, I never feuded with anyone, and nothing ever ended badly, so it just naturally happened," she said.

One Direction hunk Harry Styles enjoyed a secret dinner date with Kendall Jenner.
The singer - who split with Taylor Swift in January before being linked to model Cara Delevingne - was spotted enjoying a cosy meal with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star inside Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood on Wednesday night, sparking speculation the pair are now dating. The couple made a swift exit from the posh restaurant through the back door in a bid to keep their date under wraps, but Harry, 20, was later pictured driving Kendall, 18, home in a black Range Rover.
According to Unreality TV, Kendall - who is the younger sister of Kim Kardashian - struck up a close friendship with Harry when they met at The X Factor studio, when One Direction recorded their performance for tonight's show.
The pair chose to keep the news of their dinner date from their Twitter followers, with Harry simply tweeting, "In the ciiiiityyyyyyyyy... [sic]."

Jon Hamm doesn't understand the appeal of Miley Cyrus or One Direction.
The Mad Men actor, who was the subject of backlash last year when he questioned the popularity of reality TV star Kim Kardashian, admits he isn't up to speed with pop culture phenomenons such as the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker and concedes he often sounds like a grumpy old man:
"I got s**t on for saying I don't agree with the fact that the Kim Kardashians and Paris Hilton of the world are worthy of attention and people were saying, 'How dare you!' I thought, 'Wow, really? That's a terrible thing to say?' It's ridiculous. I'm getting older, I'm slowly morphing into that guy who stands on his lawn and shakes his fist and shouts, 'Get off my lawn!' All I can is that I don't get Miley Cyrus, I don't get Katy Perry, I don't get One Direction ... I don't get why that's a thing."

Amanda Bynes could soon have her day in court.
The 27-year-old actress has been deemed fit to stand trial after her DUI arrest (Driving Under the Influence) in 2012, despite being diagnosed as a schizophrenic with bipolar disorder.
"Amanda's case was in Mental Health Court this AM, and the judge read the court-ordered medical evaluation of the actress, and determined she is now competent to face the DUI charges. Amanda's lawyer, Rich Hutton, did not object to the findings so the criminal case - which was put on hold - will not go forward," a source told TMZ.
A conservatorship is being sought for the former Nickelodeon star who was originally scheduled to appear in court on September 24, regarding her April 2012 arrest in West Hollywood, but she failed to turn up and the case was pushed back.

Simon Cowell is planning a "special holiday proposal."
The music mogul will reportedly ask pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman to be his wife during his annual festive break and has even splashed out on a ring. "Simon has an engagement ring, but is being secretive about the proposal. Simon is flying to the Caribbean for the Christmas holiday. Lauren will join him for parts of the holiday trip. Simon could be planning a special holiday proposal. It seems he will definitely propose," a source said.
Simon is said to be excited about becoming a father for the first time next year, and is looking forward to Lauren's baby shower. "He is beyond excited about his son He loves feeling the baby kicking and acts very proud that he will be a father. Lauren's friends are planning a New York city baby shower that Simon will attend," the source added.
A spokesperson for the X Factor boss refused to confirm his engagement plans. "The matters are private and there will be no comment on it," they said only.

Charlie Sheen to Cooperate with Child Services

Charlie Sheen has agreed to "cooperate" with Los Angeles Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS).
The Anger Management star - who slammed the organization as "incompetent" after custody of his four-year-old twin sons Bob and Max was awarded to Scott Mueller, the brother of his ex-wife Brooke - feels "frozen out" of the boys' lives now they are no longer in the care of their temporary guardian, his former spouse Denise Richards, and knows he needs to "step up" to change that himself.
"He has finally recognized that if he wants to spend time with the boys, he'll need to cooperate with child protective services. Charlie stood on the sidelines as Denise became the temporary guardian of the boys. That meant that he had visitation almost everyday. Now that Bob and Max are with Brooke's brother Scott, he's been frozen out. He hasn't been able to see them. For that to change, Charlie needed to step up and participate," a source said.
