Justin Bieber had a run in with the law just hours after rumors surfaced he proposed to Selena Gomez.
The "Boyfriend" singer - who was dumped by his girlfriend of two years last week amid reports she felt she couldn't trust him to be faithful - was pulled over in his white Ferrari for making a dangerous left turn in West Hollywood last night and was then issued a ticket after police officers discovered his registration for the supercar had expired.
Law enforcement sources confirmed to gossip website TMZ.com that the 18-year-old Canadian popstar - who was driving with a friend at the time - was completely compliant with police and was issued a ticket for not having valid registration. But the singer didn't appear to be too concerned about his minor brush with the law as he posted a picture of the police car on his Instagram site.

Katy Perry is falling madly in love with John Mayer.
The "Wide Awake" singer was spotted being very affectionate with the "Half Of My Heart" singer at a joint birthday bash for Hello Giggles blogger Sophia Rossi and New Girl co-creator Liz Meriwether on Saturday night, and insiders say she is "obsessed" with him now they are "full on dating."
"John had his hand on Katy's back a lot, and they were kissing and holding hands," a fellow party guest said.
The couple's date at the party - which was also attended by A-listers Jon Hamm, Mindy Kaling, Nicole Richie, Shannon Woodward and Zooey Deschanel - is just the latest in a string of romantic high profile outings for the duo since they rekindled their romance in September following a brief split in August. A source previously revealed that they barely acknowledged other guests at Katy's 28th birthday party last month because "they were in a world of their own."

What happened to Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez?
The popstar couple - who had been dating since February 2011 - reportedly split last week, and the general public is just dying to know what went wrong. Although the "Baby" singer was open to talking about the break-up, he wasn't quite clear about his thoughts: "I don't know what to say. I don't know what's going on in my life. To even assess that it doesn't make sense 'cause I have not made any comment."
Although plenty of Bieber's female fans are happy with the news that the couple are no longer together (she faced hate mail and harrassment from many of them for the duration of their relationship), he neither confirmed nor denied the news.
Rumors of Bieber's infidelity arose when he was spotted with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin, taking her to see The Lion King on Broadway.

Rihanna claims she is jealous of Beyonce's good looks.
The "Diamonds" singer has admitted that the 31-year-old "Diva" singer, who is married to her "genius" mentor Jay-Z, makes her feel insecure.
When asked what she thought of Beyonce, the 24-year-old popstar told Bravo's Andy Cohen during a Facebook Live interview last Thursday, "Gorgeous. A stab to my self esteem."
Later, she admitted that despite being a huge fan of Madonna as well and wanting to collaborate with her on a song, she is quite happy being herself: "At this point I am so good with being Rihanna. I love her. Like I'm cool, I'm okay."
The "Rude Boy" singer claimed that in 30 years time she just wants to be happy with her figure. "I want to be skinny. I want to be fierce. I hope my t*ts are still sitting up. Nothing else will matter at that point."

Miley Cyrus already feels married.
The 19-year-old actress and her Hunger Games star boyfriend Liam Hemsworth got engaged earlier this year but Miley revealed she feels like the pair are wed. Miley - who is currently working on a new album - said, "I am married in my heart and my mind. I do everything that I would be if I had the paper, but I want to take the time to actually enjoy it. My most important thing right now is... I want people to hear what I want to say and get my record out, so when there is a time that I can take some time off, I'll feel like I accomplished my stuff. Then I can take a break and just enjoy being married for a little while."

Tattoo artist and reality star Kat Von D confirmed that she and DJ/producer Deadmau5 have split up.
Von D, 30, took to the microblogging site Twitter to inform her fans of the break-up: "Man... Can't say I didn't give it my best. Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off. Lesson Learned... Now, we can get all of the 'I told you so's' outta the way... And move on." And just to make sure that there wasn't any confusion about whom she was referring to, she wrote, "Clarification: Deadmau5 and I are no longer together."
A source close to the couple - who started dating in September - previously revealed that they began dating after meeting at a party.
Prior to Deadmau5 - whose real name is Joel Zimmerman - Von D had an on-again-off-again relationship with Sandra Bullock's ex, Jesse James. She reportedly split with him due to his infidelity.

Voters in Atlanta were furious when Usher was allowed to skip to the front of the line on election day.
The "OMG" hitmaker was given special treatment by polling officials, where he was allowed to bypass the long queue to vote during the recent US presidential election, and his fellow voters are unhappy with the move, according to local TV station WSBTV. However, election officials insist Usher was allowed to move to the front of the line to prevent chaos among those present.
They said in a statement that the site's poll manager "was directed to ensure that [Usher's] presence would not become a distraction by taking necessary measures to move [him] through the process as expeditiously as possible. At no point was this decision made for preferential treatment, but to avoid a distraction at the poll."

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have split up. The 20-year-old actress and the "Baby" hitmaker - who went public with their relationship in February 2011 - called time on their relationship last week.
"They broke up about a week ago. Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship," a source told E! News.

Rihanna has revealed she and Chris Brown are no longer together. The "Diamonds" singer - who had recently reunited with the 23-year-old R&B star despite the fact he is still under supervised probation for beating her in 2009 - claims they are not together anymore but are still on good terms.
When asked whether she is still dating the "Turn Up the Music" singer, the 24-year-old popstar told Bravo's Andy Cohen during a Facebook Live interview yesterday, "No. Not together."
But she said she is still on friendly terms with Chris - who recently jetted off on a tour of Europe and Africa - and hinted she has yet to decide on their future together as she opened up about their upcoming duet "Nobodies Business" on her new album Unapologetic which is due to be released on November 19.

The "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" singer attended the unveiling of the advert in Florida and she was also presented with the Nanci Alexander Activist Award, named after PETA's founder, by fellow rocker Iggy Pop.
"Joan takes every opportunity to talk about the importance of being kind to animals, and she's among the most dedicated activists I've had the pleasure of knowing. People listen when this star talks. She's had a positive influence on countless fans," PETA UK founder Ingrid E Newkirk said.
